Looking For Success
Looking for success ahead!
I have now been working on my blog, MyRVHQ.com for about a week, maybe a week and a half, and I feel like I have made significant strides towards having a really amazing website I can call my own.
While this is not my first attempt at an online presence or business, it is the first one that has felt right, right from the beginning. With the awesome support and team at WA, I have made more strides in a week and a half, than I ever have with anything else before!
Shiny Object Syndrome
My problem has always been jumping on the next "bigger and better" opportunity that presents itself seemingly every day. Shiny object syndrome is definitely a thing, and I had it bad. I was constantly hearing my wife, Melissa, saying, " I thought you were working on an online toy store" or " What happened to the pet store you were working on and promoting?" And I would answer, "oh, I found something better".
Needless to say, she was getting pretty upset, I was buying into everything that came my way, and making zero progress. That is why I didn't even mention WA until I had the website up and a few articles written with some comments on an article. She is impressed, she is proud, and she is happy to see some progress, finally.
Not There Yet
Even though I (and my wife) am impressed with how far I have come, I'm not quite there yet. But, making progress with the program every day is a huge boost for me, and I look very forward to working with WA every day as a result.
My most difficult part yet is creating content. Turns out, I'm not a bad writer, but, sometimes I feel like I'm just rehashing a thousand articles that are already on the web. I have little first hand knowledge of what I write, learning as I go, and am passionate about my niche, but, I feel like, "what can I contribute that hasn't already been said a million times"?
I understand finding the low hanging fruit, but there are pages and pages on google with the same low hanging fruit that I am writing about.
That being said, I'm not giving up, I'm not following the next shiny object, and I am determined to win at this!
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Jerry
