I followed everything I'm supposed to do as far as Pinterest Facebook and Instagram. Facebook and Instagram will not let me advertise my website and Pinterest just suspended my

For Facebook need to comply with the policy. Go through all of them and amend. There is something they dont like.

After you have amended, request to reveal. Mine is always approve after I amennded.

This should be the same as pinterest though I dont advertise a lot with them.

There's nothing to amend, I'm simply pointing the ads to my website which is about living in an RV, not MLM or making money, this is why I'm so confused about this.

I am not sure what niche you selected but typically there will be:
- compliance
- advertising restriction (Eg. Diabetes)
- certification/authorization requirements

You can engage with the respective social and ask them.

You can also take Keshia’s suggestion on Jay’s Pinterest month webinar.

I run an RV site, nothing more, and I keep getting pinged for promoting MLM and money making, neither of which has anything to do with my ads or my website, just so frustrating!

That is very strange because RV site should be OK. It is a physical product .

Jerome, don't give up after one setback like this. Social media can be finnicky at times. Sometimes you use it and all will be good, other times you do the same thing and you get pinged for it. Appreciate the frustration.

Have you asked Pinterest why they suspended your account? I could be just a simple misunderstanding that could be resolved with some open and constructive communication. Besides if you are willing to engage with Pinterest on this matter, it will show your are sincere about what you are using the social media platform for (ie. you are not a snakeoil slaesman) and that you are serious about anyone trying to interfere with your right to conduct a genuine business.

Let us know how you get on.

very good answer anything you do in life and it is not going right for you, you have to be willing to open the line of communication to whom it may concern that the situation can be resolved.

Every time I go to share a post to my FB page, it never shows a picture, just a standard blank head and body picture FB uses when there is no picture. How do I fix this? My pos

Hi Jerome, just following up to see how you're making out with this one. I've had issues with this in the past as well but never consistently. Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't.

I don't do very much with social media other than sharing a post every now and then, but when I do, I just create a separate image in Canva using the Twitter template (which is close enough to the FB template so I can use the same image for both), then I add/upload that image first to my FB post, write a quick teaser about the post (just sentence or two) and then add my link.

It's not an ideal solution but it doesn't take too long and again, in my case, I haven't really committed to social media as a growth strategy so it's just a simple work around.

I was able to finally get it to work last night, I had to go back in and add a featured image to each post, then realized it made 2 of the same image on the post itself, so had to go back and delete images from posts so it wouldn't show the same picture on top of each other. Took some time, but worth it in the end. Now, it works at least part of the time and when it doesn't I just add the photo to my FB post before posting it.

Glad you were able to get it working. As you said, some time and effort now but will pay off later :-)

setup your social meta for all in one seo
this way you can select which image to put on your social media - along with a default image just in case
you can choose at the bottom of each post or just leave the general setings
good luck
phil

Thank you Phil, will give it a shot!

Hi Phil,
Do I need to input my FB ID? I keep getting an error when I try to find it with the find ID tool.

i think you only need that if you want them to share it on your facebook page
there are atwo ways to share - on your time line and on theirs
you will need to decide which you want to use
i think if you use them to share to their timeline you don't need your fb id - on a very slow computer tonight and haven't set this up for ages - even typing faster than the screen can keep up with.....

I'm sorry about your computer lol, I hope it gets better! I guess maybe I didn't ask correctly, I am trying to share my own content and posts to my FB page. And even though I did what you said, I still am getting no picture, not even the default that I set up in SEO plugin, so, I'm still lost, sorry.

just tried changing the image at the bottom of the post in the all in one social bit and that displayed on posting to fb - best i can do tonght
i know the other bit does work i have set it up on one of my sites - ust can't remember which one

C an you make them featured images on your blog

Is that what I'm doing wrong? I will give it a shot!

i am sure Phil's will work I don't use a SEO plugin so I don't know
