Things I Discovered within 48 Hours of Joining WA
Finally, I've completed the Level 1 training here at WA! And so far, I'm super pumped and engaged!
It's so amazing seeing how well-thought-out the platform is for beginning affiliate marketers like me. I feel the warmth of the community and it is really encouraging seeing how questions are answered and you don't feel like you're left out. I'm super impressed, within 24-48 hours, an aspiring online entrepreneur, can get so much value with the Starter account.
A little disclaimer here - I'd like to be honest with what's on my mind here. I'm not saying it's all going to be rainbows and butterflies with this affiliate marketing journey. So without further ado, here are the things I discovered within 48 hours of joining WA:
a) My chosen niche is quite a bit competitive but I'm not alone in feeling this way.
It's so comforting to know that I'm not the only one who feels challenged in this journey and it's also a great feeling that people here acknowledges that and there are ways to work around competitive niches.
b) Creating 1,500 word posts definitely humbles me.
I want to learn more about it - I do have a lot of ideas, but surely filling in the ideal amount of words in a website content is a big feat for me. I know content can be outsourced, but since I am starting out, I'd like to establish the consistency in producing quality content. So I'm looking forward to more training about copy writing and more practice in blog writing.
c) New things can sometimes bring a little discomfort, but getting the right support lessens that burden.
Honestly, before joining WA, I'm in that place of uncertainty. We definitely are living in weird times and I do feel lucky and grateful that I have a job during this time. But I'm also in that place, wherein I feel stuck because I definitely want to work for my own business and generate serious income. Instead of, me generating income for another business.
This feeling isn't new to me though, it has been this way for quite a number of years now. But to take that leap of faith and venture into another journey is all new to me so I still feel a bit uncomfortable. Uncomfortable because, there is stability with my job. But at the end of the day, I am just another employee who is dispensable.
Am I wrong to feel this way?
Anyway, I really appreciate the fact that WA is very structured when it comes to training. The lost feeling I have is dramatically lessened. It actually made me super motivated and psyched to keep pushing harder, and generate serious income.
d) Consistency and Time Management is key.
I think the key here is consistency and carving out time (at least 2-3 hours per day) on training. Now, I'm definitely going to have a consistent schedule in my calendar to work on my sites.
I'm just a noob celebrating my small victory here. It definitely is a great day to discover things about myself.

Good stuff here Jenn. You are correct, when we work for someone else, we are always dispensable. One screw up at my old job and people were fired. This is a great place to get the training you need to get yourself well on the way to financial freedom. It does not happen overnight or even in the first year or two, but with consistent dedication and effort to this process, it can definitely be done. Search for Success Stories in the search bar at the top of this page and you will see what I mean.
