Some times poems come easy
The words just flow from my lips
But other times it's tougher
And my tong just ties and slips
Life too has ups and downs
It rarely stays nice and steady
There's often unexpected turns
It's hard to always be ready
When life is good and going smooth
Don't forget to offer thanks
As gratitude is often overlooked
And it's important for when life tanks
When surrounded by your problems
And seemingly everything's got you down
Being greatful for who and what you have
Reminds you that things can turn around
Gratitude is just so important
It shows appreciation for what others do
It cheers friends and family and even you
Saying, "I see all you do and I love you too..."

Hi Jean I hope you had a good New Year celebration and have great success in 2016. I hope 2016 is better for me than the end of 2015. Yesterday afternoon I tripped and fell, ended up having plastic surgery in the ER. Still not too bad I am walking and talking so won't complain:-)

Thank you Jenn, I am keeping a low profile so as not to scare the kids but they insist on coming to see me, bless them. None have run out of the house screaming so it can't be too bad:-)
I was lucky there was no impact injury just lacerations that will heal leaving me looking "interesting":-)

"Interesting"... Sounds better than scary or frightening. Kids often react better than adults. Kids are real and say what they think, or don't care either way about things. Adults get awkward and uncomfortable (not all of course). Wish you the best and a quick recovery.
