A Billionaire Poem For Dogs

If I had a billion dollars,

I would produce dog harnesses,

And band prong collars.

On a collar would be,

Only the tags.

It would prevent neck injuries,

And no dogs would gag.

No more debates,

Of the rights and wrongs.

We would use loving methods

Rejecting collars with prongs.

Clearly some tools,

Are straight out abuse.

With the chance of injury

So, what’s the use?

Injuring a dog ,

Ending up at the vet.

Could be worse than the bill

That you’ll always regret.

We know there are methods,

That are very cruel.

For the welfare of your dog,

Be selective of your tools.

Upon the master,

The dog will depend.

From abuse we protect,

With our whole hearts we defend.

A leash attached,

To the gentle harness,

Brings joy to the training,

Using a method that’s harmless.

Using kindness,

And your voice I’ve seen.

Builds the strongest bond,

And a forever team.

Our dogs treat us with,

Submission and loyalty.

So, Pay it forward,

Treat your dog with royalty.

That’s what I would do

If I was a Billionaire,

I’d put out a campaign

And make all dog owners aware.

This could become,

A heartfelt Campaign.

That might reduce,

Some harshness and pain.

Leaving your reply,

Supports my endeavour.

It substantiates the ethics

Being a dog parent forever.
