Only two days now until Christmas arrives. I want to take a moment to wish all my WA friends a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, or whichever tradition you celebrate at this time of the year.

Fun Trivia You Might Like But Don't Really Need To Know.

Did you know that the much loved symbol of Christmas in America, the Poinsettia, came from Mexico in the early 1800s.

In fact, it was brought to the United States by Joel R. Poinsett, who was the then American Minister to Mexico. It immediately gained in popularity and was grown in greenhouses, so that by the turn of the century it had become a widespread symbol of Christmas!

It seems that nowadays, people cannot celebrate Christmas without Poinsettias!

Thank You

Thank you to each and every one of you for your input and assistance during my first year with Wealthy Affiliate. Your help has been invaluable.

While Christmas is a religious celebration, it has also been adopted by many societies as a cultural one.

I believe that as we are coming to the end of one year and about to begin another, we should reflect on where we've come from and where we want to go. Do we want to seek new horizons.

I don't actually believe in New Year Resolutions - they really are a waste of time. But I do believe in the power of the positive mind that can take you across hurdles and into new environments.

Also, I like to muse on this beautiful saying. I don't know who wrote it and I can't find an author, so must assume that it was the great Anonymous. Anyway, here it is:

"Write the wrongs that are done to you in sand, but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble. Let go of all emotions, such as resentment and retaliation, which diminish you, and hold onto the emotions, such as gratitude and joy, which increase you."

My wish for you in 2022 is that you will have an abundance of health, wealth and happiness - whatever that means for you.

Jenni.

Wishing you a great Christmas. I love the poinsettia. I once spent Christmas in Western Australia and this was the native version of the Christmas tree.Nuytsia floribunda.

Thanks so much Stephen. I love the image. I miss all the Aussie flora now that I'm in Florida!

Thank you for the good wishes.
And have a blissful holiday.

Merry Christmas to you Jenni! This was a lovely post to read.
