Please Stop The Hammering - Install Roof Shingles!
While today has been totally unproductive for me, it has been highly productive for those guys hammering on my roof.
Our roof is around 30 years old, no leaks, though. So, we decided it was high time to replace it. The guys have been here since 7.00 am this morning - first removing the old shingles, which was extremely noisy.
For the rest of the day they have hardly stopped hammering and it is now nearly 5.00 pm EST and they haven't stopped yet!
I know they have to do that to finish the job, but I have done hardly anything on my website today because it is so hard to concentrate.
Rick thinks they might finish today, and that would be a blessing.
I shall try to be doubly productive tomorrow!

I know what you mean, Jenni! Have you tried headphones with your favorite music playing in them, it might help drown out at least some of the annoying noise? Ah, well, at least hopefully it is almost over! I'm sorry that your day wasn't as productive as you had hoped!

I can imagine the noise, but they have to do exactly what they are doing.
I try to work in between the noise; not so easy, though.
Sometimes, the kids will play and shout, and I will have so much to do.
Can you move to somewhere quiet around that place?

You want them to complete it , but at the same time you want to be able to be productive on your website
