How do I add something into the root of my website?
I am trying to join the affiliate program for the PGA Tour Superstore which is run through Link Connector.
I have received the following request from Link Connector to validate my site. How do I add something into the root of my website ,please?
When we cannot confirm ownership via DNS, we often seek additional confirmation from our prospective affiliates. Please add a page to the root of your website https://whatsinthegolfbaggirls.com/ called ‘linkconnector.htm’ with the following code
<p>LinkConnector Validation</p>

you could try adding it via a file manager plugin ot as Lula says contact support ....

Okay, thanks Phil. Will try Site Support. I thought I might be able to do it myself with some guidance.
as i said you could try the file manager plugin .. i do this with search console ...adding hte hrml file to the root...
