Published on Huffington Post
So excited, wanted to share that a blog post I recently wrote got published on Huffington Post. I have been at this blogging thing about 7 months now and it's going great. I started getting affiliate sales last month and everything continues to grow. My traffic is also way up this month compared to last month. I am sharing to encourage anyone new, the training here works and it is wonderful for getting you started in the world of blogging and hopefully earning an affiliate income. I am not making a full time income yet but I know it's going to keep growing and this success is very achievable if you work hard and persevere.

Hi jen, how did you start getting your site to be recognized by Google? What specific steps did you take after you optimized on-site? Like did you write articles on other blogs? Please help!
Hi, just seeing this now sorry!! Besides following the training here at WA - keyword research and writing good content, I have become very "social" I post on fb, g+, instagram, twitter and pinterest daily and this has seemed to really help me. I joined many mom blogger networking groups and comment on a lot of other blogs. I am not sure how much this helps SEO but it definitely brings traffic in other ways. I basically spend almost an hour a day on social networking and the rest of the time trying to write content. Hope this helps!! Researching your keywords is very important too!
awesome job. Nice article too. A post with a message. You seems to have stumbled on the perfect formula. Any Idea how they found your article.
Oh. awesome job of promoting yourself by participating on the Facebook conversation. Sure some of the new topics in that conversation for your next articles.
And don't forget to lead those visitors back to your site for more topics they might also be interested in.
Promote, promote and promote.
Oh by the way, you do realize 4 other sites has picked up your article. More conversations for you to join.
Thanks Craig! I submitted my article to them so that's how they found me :) I just knew it would help drive traffic to my site if I could get published there.
ah...i see. Just so you know, I have been telling friends and other member about you in the chat. Using youur story as an example of Market Research, following a story from the beginning to its end. Thanks for sharing your's.
How did you come across this strategy?
Just recently I came across Ken McGaffin?
He is a public relations guy who helps business with getting publicity and back links from National Media Outlets.
The same thing you did except from a insider's perspective. Here's a link if you are interested.
It's a bit long. However I learned a lot from Ken. http://citationlabs.com/pr-link-building-webinar-from-1120/
I will check it out. My only idea for publishing on huff post is that I know some other bloggers in the "mom blog" niche that I had done it and I followed their advice. I figured it would help get me some traffic and notice. It's a great honor to get published on there!
yeah, now you can post their logo on your blog...And show the world.."I have Arrived!"
Just curious about your writing. Where and how did you develop it? Do you have any writing in your back ground?
Hi Craig I don't have any writing background other than what I learned in typical school classes. I have always enjoyed it though. I think it has improved as I have been blogging the past several months.
That is fantastic news and an achievement you can quite rightly be proud of - well done and keep it up
Way to go Jennifer! I read your blog post and totally agree. Both of my kids and all 8 of my grand kids were breast fed. It is the most natural and healthy way to start babies out. It seems ironic today that the trend is to shame breast feeding mothers, but so many other things that I won't mention are OK. Keep moving forward, you are doing great!
