Wednesday's Worrisome Warmth & Weather Woes!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Without getting a decent fire going, I dug out a heated fleece throw for the office and stayed in there as long as could before finally heading to bed early.
Monica called last night from work. That was nice.
Around 7 am this morning she called again and we chatted for about 30 minutes.
Then I knew that it was time to finally drag myself out of bed and try to get busy on another frigid day!
Then I got started on the morning foray into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community!
It has always been the best way for me to start each new day!
Kitty wisely remained in bed again. I might end up back in there soon too for a "warm-up" nap. The fire has been a pain to keep going, and until that problem is solved, my routine was, and likely will be slightly disrupted.
This might simply be a shorter post out of necessity, but I'll keep moving forward with it for now.
There are also some Google mail issues that I have to address at some point, so I will see what happens there, as well. There seems to never be a dull moment with Google! It might not happen today though. Too much is going on all at once right now.
I have captured a locksmith job today, and I will go take care of it after 12 pm. I hope the truck starts again. so I will be outside too making sure that it starts!
With more bad weather coming up, I needed to grab this one for sure.
I captured some images of this new day.
It has turned out to be beautiful, and we made it to 31 degrees all of a sudden. The last image was of a neighbor's frozen flag.
My ex girlfriend called to see how I was doing, and I was glad of that, as well.
I finally chatted with Mel Waller, as well!
I'm going to post this much earlier!
I'll be back on the computer later, if I can!
I HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING BETTER WEATHER WOES THAN I AM EXPERINCING TODAY, AND IN THE COMING DAYS. BETTER DAYS AHEAD EVENTUALLY, BUT NOT FOR THIS WEEK.

I, too, had a fire yesterday and again today. It's been quite cold here. Kitty takes advantage of the heat by napping on the bed right next to the wood stove. No dummy there!
Had to publish yesterday. Today I'm finally taking down my tree. I always leave it up until after Russian Christmas, which is the 9th, I believe. Now that's come and gone and I have no more excuse -- except that it's cheery on a winter day.
Beautiful pics -- it appears that you have more snow than we do.

I feel for you without a decent fire under such winter conditions. Hopefully, you can solve that major problem today.
It is becoming much colder here as well. Maybe some of your frigid weather is coming my way.

As I have said a few times, Jeff, I will have a fire going on the two subzero days we will be having soon! Scarce resources have to be allotted accordingly!

Cold enough for snow here, glad I'm confined to barracks for a few days.

It's sore, not painful. I can't get the two halves of my face to work together. Hopefully the swelling will go down soon.

Right now I don't care. Unusual I know.
I made chicken chow mein for my evening meal. I ate about half and saved the rest for tomorrow. Just too difficult to eat with the two halves of my mouth working to a different beat. Lost count of how many times I've bitten my tongue.
Its good for a laugh when I do get to the pub.

Yuk. That is not for me. It might work in Florida but not in sleepy Somerset.
I can wait. Right now I don't have much appetite, but that's to be expected with 15 stitches across my face.

Sorry to hear of the troubles with the fire, Jeff! Is the wood wet…hope it soon corrects itself for you! Do you have a portable heater? Glad you were able to pick up the work today.

I have methods in place, Susan! I'm saving the drying wood for our upcoming two coldest days this week. If I burn it all now, that would not be prudent!
Kitty and I stay very snug in the bed! More hibernation is in order!

Looking at the photographs, you really do have real snow! It may be nice to look at, but it's not easy when you are trying to do daily life. I know that many of us here in the UK like to see the snow, but it quickly gets very disruptive and not much fun!
I'm glad you are able to chat with Monica and had a catch-up with Mel; that's good news.
