Terrific Thursday Weather, Wealthy Affiliate Activities, & Productivity
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
It has been another long and productive day for me! It all started early this morning when I logged into the computer and began my normal morning trek through the Wealthy Affiliate community.
I can think of no better way to start my day, and of course, Tig-Tig was beside me too, though she seemed a little distracted.
Oh well, that is how cats are, I guess! I figured that is okay, because she is, at least in the bedroom with me and not out in the living room like the Blog Dogs are!
Lounging away as usual, I discovered!
I went and did my scheduled locksmith job around 10 am. It was another warm sunny day in January!
The sky was beautiful as I drove toward the house I needed to change the locks on.
The day stayed like this, and I took advantage by getting some long neglected outside chores taken care of!
These chores were interspersed with several trips to the computer to visit Wealthy Affiliate and to also study a few articles for a couple of projects I am slowly putting together!
By the way, in case you did not know, it is perfectly okay to work at your own pace here in Wealthy Affiliate! I am a turtle when it comes to meticulously planning what I am going to do and how I am going to execute it.
I love staying busy with what I am doing here. Let's face it, I am a TURTLE! I am fortunate that I have a couple of physical businesses that for almost thirty years have paid my bills, so I don't feel the urgency to exceed the speed that I am capable of going.
Moreover, we can go over the training here in Wealthy Affiliate as much as we need to, and believe me, there is an abundance of it here! Some is outdated, but there is always new training coming out.
Many learned members here in Wealthy Affiliate also put out their own training, and we are allowed to avail ourselves of most of it. (Some expert training requires the Premium Plus upgrade)
I'll cut this short for now but leave you with the above to ponder! (I need to go home now and assist Monica when she gets home from work!)

Great perspective Jeff. I am in a similar position as you with one exception.
Being retired, I am fortunate to have qualified for a good Social Security and several pensions. Hence my income was paid for when I did hold jobs. In essence I am earning residual income for life.
When I was working in my career I got my first taste of aiming at building a business too. It was in Network Marketing. I failed miserably in several of them. Now I know why. I wish I had discovered Affiliate Marketing back then. But the Internet was not as developed as it is now.
The upside for me today is I have the time to devote to Affiliate Marketing as long as I decide to use it.
The downside is I don 't have an urgent need to create another source of income. There is a danger to not put in the effort.
Therefore I have to motivate myself in other ways. One being to challenge myself to accomplish something new. Another is it is fun to do.
It is OK to work at ones own pace as long as ones expectations for results are also adjusted likewise. Does that make sense?

It does, indeed, Edwin. My expectations are that anything I make is gravy, so I am ecstatic with whatever result, and build on it from there!
