Stellar Sunday Sojourns & Siestas Seemed So Satisfactory!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I had some wonderful sleep after such a satisfying Saturday! The extra rest that I got was very welcome! After I took care of the furry assistant, I jumped right into the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
It wasn't long after that when Monica called me! She now enters her third day back to work after a three-moth hiatus, and she seems to be doing very well, so that is GREAT news!
After our 1.5 hour call ended, I was quite surprised to see that Kitty had entered the room. She is stealthy, and sometimes reminds me of a wraith. She didn't remain for very long though.
I continued with my work in the Wealthy Affiliate Community, but I also did some more writing on my Kindle Vella Episode #11 too, which is already nearing completion!
When I get it done some time today, I will proofread it, and then publish. I will also announce its publication on my book promotion website too! These tasks will all be part of my Wealthy Affiliate research portion of today!
It took a while for me to venture outside to greet the new day, but I must admit that it s a beautiful one at 46 degrees already and sunny! I decided to capture a few images of the new day and the title image is one too!
We were hovering between the high 40s and low 50s at this time.
If we are not careful, we might even make 60 degrees today.
What a wonderful day this is developing into! I am anticipating an earlier Spring, so we shall see!
Nevertheless, I will definitely enjoy the sights and sounds on this glorious day!
When I went back inside the eBay house, I caught the Blog Dogs basking in the sun from the open door on their beloved ottoman! This day is as good for them, as it has been for me, so far!
I let them outside in back, so they could enjoy some of the day too!
Then, I decided that I was hungry, so I prepared some bacon for a sandwich.
Yum, Yum! This was butcher bacon from my Army buddy, Ron, not the store bought kind!
The sandwich was very good, indeed! When the Blog Dogs came back inside, I decided to give them some food with some drippings from the bacon!
Of course, you all know the result! When I was done with that, I jumped back on the computer for some more writing while awaiting my buddy Kevin to call me on his way to work at the railroad up in Nebraska!
I kept on writing trying to finish my Kindle Vella Episode #11 while I was awaiting his call. Since my phone had not been ringing ever few minutes like it did yesterday, I was capitalizing on the time, although I did get several outdoor chores done earlier since the weather was so nice.
When Kevin did call, he talked to me about he and a friend staying outside until 4 o'clock in the morning in response to a video that his van's security system sent to him.
He had texted me a screenshot of what was likely the thief that stole a lot of his sensitive locksmith equipment. It was some very eerie footage, indeed!
I also captured an image of the afternoon sun too!
We chatted about that for a while until he had to head into work! When I went back inside, I fried the pork beef that I had thawed out that I got from Ron for another dish that I am attempting to concoct in the crock pot.
This will be crock pot spaghetti, if it works out the way that I hope that it will.
Shortly thereafter, Monica called me on her lunch break at work! She seems to still be doing okay! That is GREAT news! Bad signal over where she works cut the call short, but that is okay.
I plan on finishing this post, and then heading over to her house to take a long hot bath, and refill a few of my water jugs too. I did talk to her about that before we were cut off, and I told her that I would text Samantha when I was on my way!
When I get back from that, the rest of the evening will, of course, be spent on the computer!
I SINCERELY HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A STELLAR SUNDAY TODAY! I AM DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MINE! THIS FRISATSU HAD THE ADDED BENEFIT OF A US FEDERAL HOLIDAY TACKED ONTO THE END, WHICH MAKES IT ONE OF THOSE RARE FRISATSUMOS! (THANKS, FRANK!)

It's a fancy way that the label was done by the butcher who packed it. Ron gets all sorts of meat at the butcher from all sorts of livestock. He just has to buy in on the animal. Sort of like a co-op.
The Mo portion has been going very smoothly so far!

My buddy Kevin cleared that up for me. They cannot print ground pork on the package because that will be assumed to be sausage and it is not--it is ground pork. Case Closed!

Pork labelled as beef will always sound a bit strange to me buddy!
But it is what it is!

Are you saying that the bacon straight from the butcher is better quality than the store bought bacon, Jeff? Because those strips do look a lot bigger.

They were given to me by Ron, but I must say they were quite good, Isaiah!🥓
His van was broken into at the first of the year and he had about $70K of equipment stolen then, so now he is very vigilant.

You are having some yum yum dishes today and the blog dogs are enjoying some drippings I am sure. Almost dinner for me.
Today was fix it day and grocery shopping. So, I rescreened the patio door, replaced the leaky o-ring on the stem in the kitchen faucet (unfortunately still leaks so tomorrow go replace the stem, easy fix for a few bucks. They don't make things easy anymore), patched another rat entrance, installed some very nice solar motion sensor lights, now OG is resting.
Hoping to set up my new computer tonight. And watch a movie with the Mrs. All in all a great Sunday here too.

Monica is actually hurting tonight at work. She face timed me on her break and I gave her some serious encouragement. I am so proud of her!
