Greetings,
Thanks for creating this post in remembrance of an horrific 9/11 tragedy. One in which we will never forget. Our thoughts go out to the friends and families of all those who lost their lives.
Today, we remember all the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives in order to protect our freedom. We also honor the spirit of resilience that has grown in many of us as a result of this tragedy.
Let us use this day as an opportunity to reflect upon our past events, and take action towards different goals for the future.
Thanks to Wealthy Affiliate for giving us this platform to express our emotions and share in remembrance of all those who were affected by the 9/11 tragedy.
With a renewed sense of hope, we can create a better future for our country and its citizens.
Thank you for this reminder!
Rachele
I could not have said this better myself, Rachele!
I am sure that you know what you were doing when you heard the terrible news!
We shall never forget!
You're very welcome!
Jeffπ
You are right Jeff.
It was a surreal day. I was working in Redlands California at a children's group home when we heard the news. My mum passed away 2 days later.
Both events took everyone by surprise. 9/11 was a life-changing experience, in and of itself. Even though it was broadcast on every TV screen worldwide, what transpired was absolutely inconceivable.
The funny thing was that I had just talked to my mom a few days prior to 911 to tell her I'd be coming to N.J. to spend time with her. Everything happened so quick. I am glad that I got a chance to tell her that I loved her. Seems like it happened in the twinkling of an eye.
Even though we have survived this tragedy emotionally, the images remain etched into our consciousness indefinitely. That fateful day in 2001 leaves the world in a shamble. To this day, I remain in disbelief that something so horrible could have happened.
My heart goes out to everyone affected by the tragedy of 9/11 and now with my mum's passing, life will never be the same. Despite these difficult times, I remain ever hopeful for a better tomorrow.
We can only move forward together as humanity and work to make our world a better place. We can do this by being kinder to one another, respecting each other's differences, and most importantly by supporting one another in times of need.
By honoring the memories of those who perished on 9/11, we can help heal from the tragedy that still echoes through time. To me, it is important that we never forget the importance of camaraderie and love to bring people together, even in times of crisis.
No matter how hard things may get, I believe there is always hope for those willing to fight for it. We can all make a difference by supporting each other as one global community with the same goals and ideals. Together, anything is possible and every day is a chance to make the world around us a little brighter.
These are the values that I have taken from 9/11 and continue to strive for each day. I think itβs important that we all remember what happened on 9/11, but also look forward with positivity and hope for the future. Let us never forget those we have lost, and continue to support one another.
Thank you for reading, and I hope this message brings a bit of light and optimism to your day.
Thank you for lending me your ear for a minute.
Yours truly,
Racheleπβ€οΈ
Wow, Rachele! What an experience that you had.
Yo are right, we have to keep moving forward amidst tragedy!
One thing is for certain though, we should never ever forget it though!
Jeffπ
Hi Jeff,
I am Jamaican,
As I woke this morning, I remembered, September 11th, A day I will never forget, I was at work, and at that time I was a hotel worker. The news of the first plane spread fast. I was just in time to see the second plane flew into the building, It seemed unreal, like a scene straight out of a movie, only it was not, it was very real. There was not a lot of activities that day, neither with guest or staff. Everyone was glued in front of a television, whether in the dining rooms, the bars, the lobby, or the offices, there were very few dry eyes on the hotel property that day. (Most of our guests were Americans). We cried and mourned with our guests. That was the day a lot of us learned the real meaning of the word, 'empathy'. I would not wish to see a day like that ever again.
Thank you for your recollections of that fateful, Anthonia! Let's hope none of us has to experience something like that again!
Jeff
Thank you for sharing a great tribute, Jeff...I was there, and the company (Marsh McLennan) I worked for lost nearly 358 colleagues who did nothing more than go to work.
I think we all can remember worldwide precisely what we were doing at the moment we all learned what had really happened.
-Mike
Wow, Mike! I am so sorry to hear that you likely lost many friends to boot. There were a couple of people that I went to school with that perished in that disaster too!
Jeff
I had just finished my daily exercises as part of my recovery from knee surgery. I had heard about the first plane hitting, so I turned on the TV sadly just in time to see the second tower get hit. I knew then that life as we knew it had changed forever.
I visited the 9/11 site during the memorial construction and actually was just there last month. It remains powerful and poignant. I'm especially heartbroken by the listings of a woman's name followed by "and her unborn child." Even more lives lost on that horrible day.
Never Again is my greatest fear, as we're again becoming lax in keeping these terrorists off our soil.
Wow, Jeannine--and the unborn child, meaning that more lives were lost on that day!
I plan to visit the Memorial at some point. I know my sister and Mother have!
With the open border right now those fears are founded! We all have them!

Hello Jeff,
That was a terrible and exceptionally sad and evil day! I don't know how people can do such terrible things and yet they do!
I remember exactly where I was, Jeff; I was cutting Gary Numan's (English musician) grass, Gary's wife came out to tell me what had happened! By the time I got back to the village shop, I heard that the second tower had come down! Terrible!
Something we will always remember and never forget!
Have a great day.
Roy
Unfortunately, Roy, there is evil in the world, and we must keep our faith amidst it!
What an experience that you were having when hearing of that! I don't think that any of us have forgotten what we were doing at the time of hearing the terrible news!
Enjoy your Tuesday!
Jeff
Sadly, I have to agree with you, Jeff, regarding the evil! Yes, we have to keep that faith and know that there is hope at the end!
It's funny how we remember where we were when certain events happened! However, I guess that's a good thing!
A very happy hump Day to you.π«πͺ
Roy
Evil is all around us daily, Roy--maybe not as extreme as this tragedy was, but it is there. We must remain steadfast in our faith!
Happy Hump Day!π«
Jeff
That's so true, Jeff, it really is! Sadly, I think it probably is more evil, but it's being hidden! Distraction politics, I believe!
But yes we must definitely remain steadfast in our faith!
I'm going to send you by private message Jeff video from Amir Tsarafati. He is a Jewish Christian that I follow and his ministry focuses on end time prophecy. It's very interesting! The video is under two minutes long, but it's quite encouraging.
Amir used to work for the Israeli military and ended up being quite high up in negotiating various deals etc. An interesting man.
Have a great day.
Roy
Yes, Roy! We are constantly battling and struggling against this venom!
Our faith must definitely be strong!
He certainly seems to be! God Bless him!π
Happy Monday!
Jeff
It certainly seems that way, Jeff!
I don't know how much British news you see in the States, but Russell Brand is making the headlines at the moment! A friend of mine introduced me to him a couple of years ago, he is someone I have never been interested in. To be fair, I don't think in the early days, he led his life in the best way, many of us have been there!
However, from being a lefty, he changed his tune and is now bringing many things to light. He has over 6 million subscribers on YouTube, so an absolutely massive following! So, sadly, they are trying to bring this man down as he is speaking the truth!
End times beckon!
Yes, Jeff, it's so important to stay strong in the faith!
I generally enjoy Amir's posts and topics!
Have a great day.
Roy
I saw Brand's legal woes on Fox news! Very sad, but I still like him.
We have all been there at one time or another, Roy!
Brand does speak the brutal truth!
The end times are coming, but as the Bible says, we do not know the hour of the day, but the Lord will come as a thief in the night! We must be patient!
Enjoy your travel day! I have to put the new locksmith job in motion!
Jeff
That's interesting that they are talking about Russell Brand in the US, Jeff!
Yes, none of us are perfect and Russell certainly doesn't claim that he has been perfect. It's good to hear people making a stand and talking the truth.
We also have a similar thing happening with GB News which is a platform that was set up a couple of years ago, I guess! It's quickly grown in viewing figures, beating the traditional mainstream media. They are now trying hard to shut GB News down, I don't think they will succeed, but the principle is still awful!
Yes, indeed, the end times are coming and we need to be ready!
Sorry Jeff, I'm behind with my messages etc, I can see our last conversation was two weeks ago! Time flies when you're having fun! I'm pleased you have a locksmith job come in, may many will follow.
A very happy Monday to you.
Roy
I like Russell Brand, and he is being canceled by the Crazy WOKE Mob! I hope he keeps pushing forward!
Ever since I was a Kid, the end times have been coming--all on God's timetable though!
God allows me to have enough jobs to get through, Roy! I could not ask for more!
Happy Monday!
Jeff
He really is speaking the truth, Jeff, hence why the woke mob hate him so much, as you are aware of! It's a terrible world at times!
That's a great way to look at things, Jeff! It's great to have a grateful heart like you have, well done for looking at things in such a good way.
Have a great Tuesday.
Roy
The world that we currently live in Roy is terrible! That is why I believe fully that we are in the end times!
Happy Tuesday!
Jeff
Ditto, Jeff! I don't think that many people are seeing the evil behind everyday happenings! I'm glad I have a saviour!
A very happy Saturday to you.
Roy
Me too, Roy! π
Enjoy your Saturday!
Jeff
Sadly, terrible evil going on in Israel, at the moment.
We need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Have a great day.
Roy
It is truly appalling, but not necessarily unexpected!
Prayers to all of them, and to all of us! πππ
Enjoy your Day!
Jeff
That's very true, Jeff!
There are many people complaining now about the retaliation going on in Gaza, I appreciate it's terrible, but what does Israel do? Stand back and watch it happen again! The sad realities of war, it's not nice!
Enjoy your Monday.
Roy
War is never nice, Roy! The Israelies will do what they are going to do, though!
Jeff
I hear you, Jeff, big-time! Yes, I believe so; they have had enough and rightly so!
A very happy Thursday to you.
Roy
All through the Bible, they dealt with this, Roy! The Holocaust too!
Happy Thursday!
Jeff
It's so true, Jeff! In the UK and I believe the US we are importing these people daily! They are not refugees, they are fighting men!
Have a great day.
Roy
Yes, I fear the US's lax border policy has set us up for terror inside our boundaries too! Thank God for the 2nd Amendment!
Jeff
I know we have a huge problem here, Jeff, but I think your problem may be bigger than ours! Having said that, we are a relatively small island and per acre we are highly populated! I'm thankful I live in the countryside!
Although we have an old US airbase nearby which is now an asylum centre, that's not clever!
A very happy Sunday to you.
Roy
I think that we all have terrorists among us thanks to our lax governments, Roy!
Happy Sunday!
Jeff
I hear you, Jeff!
I feel sorry for all our servicemen who have fought in wars for our freedom! It makes their work slightly in vain, not clever!
Have a great day.
Roy
Well, you can just look at the idiot that we have in office right now!
Have a Happy Monday!
Jeff
And there is no other way to describe that man, Jeff! He would be better off being a comedian! Sadly, the whole world is laughing!
Have a great Thursday.
Roy
The world is in so much turmoil, Roy, but this was prophesied!
Happy Thursday!
Jeff
It is indeed, Jeff! I find as absolutely amazing that we have access to a book that tells us the future! For those who know the King of Kings, it will end well!
Have a great Sunday.
Roy
I agree, Roy! That Book is the most important thing that we have, since it is God's word!
Happy Sunday!
Jeff
That's so true, Jeff! The Book of life that gives us everything we need to do life and more!
Have a great Monday.
Roy
Without it, we would be lost, Roy!
Happy Monday!
Jeff π
That's true, Jeff! If I wasn't a Christian, I would be scared and I mean that!
Have a great day.
Roy
Same here, Roy!
I just pray that God's Will Shall Be Done!
Happy Tuesday!
Jeff π
That's a good thing to pray, Jeff!
I'm at home at the moment waiting for the rain to stop! It's supposed to stop later, but it depends on which weather forecast you look at!
Have a great Thursday.
Roy
We know that whatever HIS will is, we be satisfactory to us! He knows best.
The weather everywhere seems to be unpredictable!
Happy Thursday!
Jeff
That's true, Jeff! I do believe that he wants to see us thrive, but I don't mean that in a greedy way!
Yes, it does, Jeff! Here in the UK, whether has always been unpredictable, however, it seems like that across the world now! Who knows what they're doing, probably something not good!
A very happy Friday to you.
Roy
I totally agree with you, Roy!
Living each day that I am given is my goal as I continue pushing forward!
Happy Friday!
Jeff
That sounds good, Jeff! We had to keep pushing forward and carry on regardless.
A very happy Sunday to you.
Roy
It seems to be getting harder and harder to do, Roy!
Happy Sunday!
Jeff
I know what you are saying, Jeff! And part of that is part of Sleepy Joe's plan, although I don't think he knows if he has a plan or not!
And the other thing is that physical work does get a bit harder as we mature! The body takes a fair beating over the years!
Have a great day.
Roy
He is a brainless prop, it is the design of his handlers only.
I have lost a lot of weight, so that there is more that I simply cannot do, but I manage. God is Great!
Happy Monday! π
Jeff
