Magnificent & Meticulous Monday!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Well I woke up into the new week feeling like I wanted more sleep, but other than that, ready for the new day! As the title image infers, we are having rain today. I'm not sure how long it will last, but it is raining right now.
To me, that is the best time to be on the computer getting Wealthy Affiliate tasks done. Then again, rainy days many times make us want to get more sleep too, and depending on how my work goes today, I might grab a nap too.
Of course, my first order of business on the computer is my normal morning sojourn into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community.
My somewhat trusty assistant, Kitty, once again appeared to assist on this first day of the new week. The Blog Dogs are likely putting more material together for my blog posts too!
I didn't hear from Monica this morning like I usually do, but then we did have several face time meetings yesterday, so I cannot complain. I'll likely hear from her later. It is her last day at work until Friday.
I began my normal daily Wealthy Affiliate research portion of the day earlier than usual.
I will work towards completing Episode 5 of my Kindle Vella project too. I have been sidetracked a couple of times on doing this, but I will work harder to get it finished. There is also a plan to start another blog post on my book promotion website too!
Then, I took a look outside, and the rain is pouring down right now. I'll try to capture some images though.
The rain had slowed down for the moment, but the rain had been going on since the wee hours of the morning.
It was definitely going to be a soggy day! That is excellent for remaining inside and getting more computer work done.
It will likely rain most of the day, but stranger things have happened with the crazy Kansas weather.
I don't mind the rainy day as a start to the new week since I have plenty of writing to do!
When I went back inside to get back to work, I noticed that the Blog Dogs were working hard on future blog post ideas.
I am so glad that they are on the job. I don't know what I would do without them.
There is some excellent progress being made on Episode 5 of my Kindle Vella project during this down time caused by the wet weather. We should always take advantage of these times to take care of other things when warranted.
This is because when the weather is decent outside, it sometimes makes us focus on tasks that we have to accomplish when the weather is good, so it is a blessing in disguise when we are able to get some important work done at the computer!
Barring any locksmith work that comes up today, I will finish Episode 5, and will likely start another post on my book promotion website. This will be the best use of my time for the rest of the day.
I expect to hear from my buddy Kevin on his way to work, and quite possibly, I will hear from Monica at some point today too.
This was her last hour before she got off of work. She was bored to tears when she face-timed me!
If anything else comes up today that is noteworthy, I will post about it later! Otherwise, it will be "nose to the grindstone" for the rest of the day for me!
I would leave everyone with one final image of the day, but it is still wet, chilly and dreary, so you get the idea!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS HAD ANOTHER EXCELLENT START TO THE NEW WEEK! I KNOW THAT I SURE HAVE--BEING PRODUCTIVE IN MY WRITING!

Hi Jeff, when it rains in the Uk it rains, floods the garden, only time of year I get to wash, Hehe. Kitty being loyal as usual, while the blog dogs dream of food with dripping on it. And even if Monica didn`t look happy on her face time call, you certainly looked chirpy, Monica will probably be happier when works done. Have a great week buddy.
Brian, we've had major flooding only two times in my area of Kansas! Once in 1993, and again in 2019. In both of those cases, the rivers were swollen, and there was lots of damage. The furry assistants are something else, and yes, Monica was much happier now that she is off for the next three days.

A little rain is not so bad, but it doesn’t do much to inspire the soul. That looks like a good day for a nap or two, Jeff! Today was the last of sun and warmth here, I think and there’s endless raking to be done. M does look so bored in that pic. Maybe you’ll have some more chats tonight. Hope you have a good one.

I did catch a nap, Susan, but I also got my post off early, and caught a $60 unlock job later in the day when the rain had let up.
I'm sorry you have to rake! I let the Kansas wind take most of it, and I burn some in the fireplace too!🍁

It’s dreary and raining here in RI, too. My wife enjoys watching old scary or sci-fi movies with this weather, so I’m sure she’ll choose one shortly.
