Cold, Cold, & Colder!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I managed to keep the fire burning for as long as I could last night before I finally went to bed. I thought that might help a little to keep the temperature right for a while.
I slept very well, waking up late again for this winter snow day. No worries!
Then, I got up, got coffee made, and laid some more logs in the fireplace! It started smoldering, so we shall see how much more work that will take to get it going again. Hopefully, not much!
It should be burning soon!
Then, after feeding Kitty, it was time to venture once again into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community!
There are always treasures to be found there each and every day, sometimes you just have to dig for them!
Fortunately, that was accomplished pretty quickly, and then I went back to tending the fire. It will take a bit of doing, but soon it will be going good. Kitty went back to bed after eating, so she is the smart one today!
After the initial foray into the WAC, I opened the door to capture images of this dreary weather new day, including the title image!
As was forecast, we had a load of snow delivered to us! Then, before I went back inside I took one more picture!
Lo and behold, there was Humphrey--right on time. I should have known, but then it was always a total surprise! He sure does get around though!
This weather dictates this post! I have a few locksmith jobs scheduled for later, so that was quite appealing too! I got a few calls from regular customers, but considering the weather, they were not urgent. Which was very good, indeed!
I also managed to somewhat get the fire started too!
I prepared ahead of time for the weather, so I should not have to go anywhere today.
I chatted with Mel Waller on the phone for over an hour. It wasn't long after that when my buddy Kevin called on his way to work at the railroad today! If his snow is just as bad up there, then that will be a bit of a hardship for him, I am sure!
I captured some images of the sun on the snow--hard to tell though!
Then I took some more outside which turned out better.
Then, I carried some more firewood inside too.
Once back inside, I found Kitty on top of the covers for a change.
The rest of the evening will be spent on the computer and by the fire if it ends up working out!
I also plan to take a quick warm-up nap, as well, and then I'll put the finishing touches on this post, if there is anything else to be done! That was postponed until I publish, since I ended up defrosting the windshield on the truck, and let it run for about a half hour.
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS HAD A GREAT PRE HUMP DAY! EVEN THOUGH OUR WEATHER WAS NOT THE BEST, I FEEL LIKE I DID, AS WELL!

We are supposed to be getting our first hard weather at the end of this week. Here in the northeast of Arkansas. Some winters we don't get much if any snow. Which I miss since I grew up in the north, anyway enough about me. I am glad you found a way to stay warm and cozy.

That looks like a pretty heavy snow, I would find it difficult to drag myself away from the fireplace.l have an updated pic of Humphrey for you…
Finally finished off my latest post for my ESL site. It ended up just under 3,000 words. Definitely a cornerstone post. lol. My mind has muscle fatigue. lol.

That looks wintery, Jeff and cold! We got the same today here and now it's raining. So the morning trek out with the trash should be interesting lol. Hopefully it'll melt just as soon as it arrived but we shall see. Glad to see Kitty is keeping you company. I hope you have a good evening...stay warm!

That is you can stay indoors where it is warm instead of venturing out and about.
You got much more snow than we did it appears. We got about 4 inches of snow which turned into slush from it raining later in the day.
Today was much the same mixed rain/snow.
I did venture out and about to get some things for my mom at the store. It would have not been too bad if the wind hadn't been so bad. My fingers were frozen by the time I got the groceries from the store to my car.

It was beautiful, but the house was not warm--fire issues. Off and on, we will have more loads of snow, and single digit temps on the upcoming Frisatsu, if not sooner!
