What Are Good Topics to Write About
Hello WA Family
What are good topics to write about is our subject today, I am going to do my best to help you use a new research method some of you might not be familiar with. If our target audience has little interest in what we are writing, we will experience very little traffic.
The Most Popular Niche Topics
Before I share my research method with you, let us look at what are the most popular niche topics. This can benefit anyone who is shopping for a niche, and anyone who might be thinking of adding a new website.
- Personal Finance
- Travel
- Food
- Cooking
- Health
- Fitness
- Technology
- Hobbies
Even if you are promoting another niche other than these, that does not mean you are going to experience negative results. As long as people have an interest in your niche, you will experience positive results with persistence and patience.
What About Quora
Quora is a social question-and-answer website where users can ask and answer questions on a wide range of topics. Even though this isn't technically a research tool, we are going to be using it as one in the following paragraphs.
- Quora is a widely used platform with millions of monthly users, making it a valuable resource for finding information on various topics.
- While search engines crawl the web for information, Quora focuses on user-generated content specifically in a question-and-answer format.
Now that you understand the main purpose of Quora, we are going to be using this to research good topics to write about.
Using Quora
Here are some ways you can use Quora to research what solutions people are asking about
- Use the search bar at the top of the page to enter keywords related to your area of interest. This will show you a list of questions and discussions related to those keywords.
- Explore popular topics within your niche. Quora categorizes questions and discussions into topics.
- Browsing relevant topics can help you discover common issues and solutions people are looking for.
- Use the filters on the search results page to narrow down your search like date, popularity, and upvoted answers,
- Look for recurring themes in the questions and answers. This can give you the most common solutions people are searching for in your niche.
Even if this isn't considered a research tool, you can use it as one to do very effective and quick research to find good topics to write about in your niche. I find this saves me time being super easy to find what people want to read about to solve their problems.
Research Tools
For those of you interested in research tools, I have included some of the most popular ones below.
- Google Trends
- Semrush Keyword Magic Tool
- Ahrefs Content Explorer
- AnswerThePublic
- BuzzSumo
- Brandwatch
- Sprout Social
Now you have more tools to add to your affiliate marketing tool kit to use, some of these are free and some require you to invest in them.
Resources
In this paragraph, I have included some resources less used by the majority of content marketers. You might want to consider using them or pass them up, but I thought this might be of interest to some of you.
Industry publications and reports
Online communities
Forums
Conferences
Niche related newsletters
Mind mapping tools like Miro or Coggle
That is what I could find to share with you on searching for good topics to write about, remember always make solving problems your priority. This has been my key to success for many years, you can experience success as well simply by putting your target audience first.
I hope this helps some of you

Hello Myra
I find this platform very useful for researching what my target audience is interested in knowing more about.

Very interesting Jeff, in fact, inspirational. I have taken on-board some of your notes and will certainly be putting them to good use.
I hope all is well in a cool Pennsylvania.
Cold and wet here, but Roy tells me its warm in Greece.
Take care buddy.

Stay dry and warm there, Dave.

That's what it is all about Jeff, in my opinion, helping others.
Sometimes new folk just don't know what to do and they don't know what questions to ask. If we can offer some illumination, then great.
Keep on doing your stuff.

Hello Dave
You have a good heart, I am motivated more by helping people than money.
Talk to you more Wednesday
Jeff
We all had to start with little knowledge. I'm always grateful to those that helped me in my career.
Hello Dave
We all do need help to get started in this business, I was the same years ago when I first was a member of this platform
Jeff
That is exactly the point I make to new electricians, just starting out. They say that don't understand, they can't do it, it will never work.
I tell them all the same thing - stick with it and look at how different you will be in 12 months. You will not be the same person.
Bux
You are absolutely right Dave
If people would stick to it for one year they would be hooked like us. I used to do this for nothing until I found out I could supplement my income
