With the holidays approaching fast, now’s a great time to add some new advertisers to your blog. Consumers are looking for something unique and wonderful to give the special people on their list, not just the same socks and ties! Offering a product that’s great, that’s different, that no one else has, that especially fits their need or situation or passion – that’s what sells great at the holidays.

As you may be aware, Amazon only offers a 1-day cookie and lower commission rates than some other great alternative brands and affiliate programs out there, and in particular during the holiday season you should consider using programs with longer cookies, higher commission rates and a variety of products that may not be available within Amazon.

Here are some gift suggestions for food bloggers or foodies.

Personalized cutting boards – chefs love personalized gifts from sites like Etsy.com. 4% commission, 30-day cookie

Chocolate melting machine – makes melting chocolate easy and fun. Great ones on Gearbest.com. 5-7% commission, 30-day cookie

Rosanna White Bungalow Colander – Vintage-inspired lines on this elegant porcelain colander from LBCModern.com. 8% commission, 30-day cookie.

Polder Home Tools Wireless Remote Meat & Poultry Thermometer with Pager – No need to open the oven until the food is done! From Bonanza.com, 6% commission, 3-day cookie

Black Truffle Mustard with Chablis White Wine – Experience the sublime flavor of Maille Dijon mustard, from Maille.com. 12% commission, 30-day cookie

Tefal Toast N Egg Toaster – An eggstravagant option for breakfast, this device combines toasting bread with cooking eggs! From TheHut.com. 6% commission, 30-day cookie

Make Your Own Prosecco – Create a bottle of delicious sparkling wine, from Iwantoneofthose.com. 6% commission, 30-day cookie

Black and Blum Wine Rack – This curvaceous wine rack holds six wine bottles securely, from Coggles.com. 8% commission, 30-day cookie

Nautical Nesting Bowls from Ahoy Buoy – Designed by artist Debbie Taylor-Kerman, this trio of ceramic nesting bowls can be used for mixing ingredients or serving snacks, from LillianVernon.com. 7.25% commission, 10-day cookie.

Glass French Press – Modern yet elegant French Press is perfect for serving either coffee or tea, from The White Company. 6% commission, 30-day cookie.

All of these merchants have affiliate programs available on Awin.com. (Full disclosure, I work for Awin). This is a link to join Awin – it is not my affiliate link but does alert my team that you are a member of Wealthy Affiliate so we can fast track your application review.

Thank you so much for sharing this!

So glad you liked it! My first post on WA, so I wanted it to be useful. And I think I'll ask Santa for that Toast & Egg Toaster - it's pretty clever!

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING sells over the holidays. Everyone has different interests, and even the most obscure niches have a great deal of popularity during the most lucrative online shopping months (which are this time of the year).

I know firsthand that the problem that a lot of people have is finding the perfect or interesting gifts, and you certainly offered some really good ideas here, and there millions of others that can be leveraged.

One of my "go to's" for gifts of all occasions has been Etsy over the years because they are unique, the are interesting, and the quality of many of the handmade gifts is unparalleled...and the best part, they have a great affiliate program. ;)

Lots of excellent ideas Jeannine here that will truly get the seasonal shopping affiliate mindset churning.

Thanks, Kyle! I couldn't agree more with you, especially about Etsy. I'll confess, I'm hooked on that site too. Their affiliate program has been a huge success, and they really love working with bloggers, which makes them a perfect match for WA members.

Yeah, that is great. The subset of products on Etsy is substantial and it runs across a diverse breadth of niches.

Good suggestions. Nothing like a chocolate melting machine!

Just the kind of gift we see selling like crazy this time of year. And sales are our goal, right?

See my post today Jeannine "more on chocolate"
