Am I missing something?
Probably. I just got through Level 2, Lesson 3 training where we are supposed to ask for feedback on our site and give feedback on other's sites as well. I had no problem looking at some pages and giving constructive feedback and encouragement, but I am now terrified of asking for feedback on my site.
Everyone's site that I viewed had lots of pictures, enabled comments, social media sharing, already have affiliate links, etc. My site is no where near that detailed yet. Did I miss something, or are these people just WAY ahead of the game? I feel SOOOO new right now. I am going back through the last 2 modules now. I have been watching the videos and taking all the recommended actions, but I feel far behind by comparison and like my content needs a LOT of work.
I better get another cup of coffee.
Open to suggestions. Not ready to share my site yet.

Hi Jeanine,
I have been here 3 weeks or so and the whole experience is just starting to click nicely. You can experience information overload (and you probably are) but be patient it will come together for you.
Start of with a simple website and grow.
Rushton
Thank you Rushton. I am definitely experiencing information overload. I am a speed reader and I am learning that that is not the same as a "speed lesson-applier". Taking it down a notch and focusing on quality now.
Hi Jeanine,
Indeed don't worry, if you are now at level 2 lesson 3 it is normal that you don' thave all the "bling bling", cause It is not even mentioned yet...
And if you need some help somewhere, just send me a PM!
Grtz,
Bert
Thanks Bert. I am without bling. :( I know I will get there, I just got discouraged for a bit. Thanks for reaching out.
Hi Jeanine,
Like Jurgen said other members ask for feedback at different times of their progress here on WA, so you will come across sites that are well established.
We have all been at Level 2, Lesson 3, so just ask for feedback, someone may pick up on something that would be easier to change at this point, rather than further down the line, plus it will give you an idea to see if you are on the right track.
Keeping going, you are doing well.
Rob
Hi Jeanine,
Don't be discouraged by other sites. People are encouraged to ask for comments on their websites throughout the whole course. So if you see websites with affiliate links and social plugins, don't worry about that. You'll get to those in the next steps of the course.
We all have to start somewhere, so I encourage you to ask for comments on your site or post.
Thank you Jurgen. I didn't realize that people at different levels of progress in the course were asking for review in the same place. I was confused. I'm still rewriting my content, but I am much less discouraged this time.

Hi there Jeanine,
Don't stress... if you ask for feedback people will give you constructive feedback based on where you are up to ( that's my experience to date). I ask for feedback often on different aspects so I can get a feeling of where I am at. I have made changes based on feedback and also excluded some ... so just take any comments you get and then you can do what you want with them. Getting / giving feedback also improves your website health within WA.
cheers
James
Thank you James. I am trying t be more open to constructive feedback. Perfectionism is a flaw I have to let go of so I can learn. I really appreciate the support.
