I don't like when I'm reading through questions and discussions and I see a negative Nancy. You know the ones.... I can't come up with my own ideas....I didn't make money in the first day like everyone said I would.... Why do I have to pay....
No one forced anyone to come to this website. Can we quit playing the victim cause you thought this would be a cake walk? Here's the truth if doing this is important to you then you will find a way if not you will find an excuse! It's the simplest truth ever stated.
When something is important to us we bend over backwards to find a way. When something is not important to us we will be the best damn excuse makers in the world. My dog ate my bank account kind of excuses....
Give yourself the investment of finding a way rather than finding an excuse....
The other day a friend told me they would get sober if only.... I heard mumbling after that because those excuses were irrelevant to me. Those excuses should have been irrelevant to my friend as well, but they weren't. I told them they can find a way to support their habit then they could sure as heck find a way to support their recovery...but those excuses stood in their way.
The only one that can actively prevent us from moving forward is ourselves....guess what time it is??? It's time to get the hell out of your way

Very well said Jennifer...it's funny how things haven't changed much over the years with people...in the mid 90's when I was doing sales training in the classroom I used to start the class by putting on a song by the Eagles called "Get Over It", I still know some of those people from those classrooms and they still haven't got over it, still the same excuses today as back then, and still haven't made any success. Like you said Jennifer..they are standing in they're own way...
Jennifer this is why we all love you so much. You don't hold back! My suggestion to our friends is that if you don't want to hear the answer.............then don't ask Jennifer a question......UNLESS you are prepared for a "from the heart, soul and mind response"!
