Commissions Declined

Hey All!

So I wanted to bring awareness to what's been happening with my commission status.

It was a few weeks ago I joined an affiliate company to sell products for my niche. I was rather shocked to see it take off so quickly when I made my first sale a few days after I posted an article.

Being in touch with the companies representative, I felt assured that these commissions were legit, and I was well on my way to experiencing 7 months of hard nose grind to actual relief.

This however turned out to be a case of fraud!

Apparently, the $1500 plus in commissions I had made over the past 3 weeks with this affiliate company was due to someone fraudulently clicking one of my links and continuously making purchases.

All the transactions were voided, and my commission dropped back to 0. The affiliate platform blocked the IP address of the person using my links to make these purchases.

So to sum up, I still need to bust my butt to make my first official sale, and anyone who hasn't experienced this, should be alerted that things like this can and do happen.

That's it folks. Carry on to the best possible outcome every day!

Cheers!

Sorry to hear that happened to you. Thanks for sharing and hopefully things will be better going forward.

Thank you Susan.

Man, Jeremy. That is a bummer. Sorry to hear it.

JD

No worries friend. It happens, but at least more can learn from it.

True. Hope things get better soon.

Good Fortune and Blessings

That is a sad state of affairs, Jeremy, but also--a possibility only--the affiliate company might just be saying that and keeping the commissions! I wish you better success soon!

No, it seems legit on their end. 1 ip address, multiple sales daily.

Hope it ends up working out!

Nope, the merchant was on ShareASale, so I looked into it as well. It was someone trying to commit fraud through his affiliate site. The huge number of high dollar sales from a single IP address were a dead giveaway. It wasn't the merchant's fault, it wasn't the affiliate's fault. It was strictly attempted fraud that was caught before anyone truly got hurt.

Thanks for the clarification, Jeannine!

Sorry to hear about your previous affiliate place you were at. This site seems pretty good.

Wow! Sorry to hear this, Jeremy!

Hopefully, you'll be all set now. 😎
