What do you all think?

I have a question, Is it wise to write a negative review about a company that has ads all over your site? I wrote a blog post about a company. It is a tell-all type of thing, but google Adsense put that company at the beginning and all over my site. Now, I don't know whether I should publish that post or put a pause on it. What do you think?

Thank you for this question. I wanted to know this also.

Interesting question, Judith! I am hoping to see some more definitive answers!

Yeah, Jeff, me too. I don't want to sound too hypocritical. After I talk negatively about a company, I turn around and promoting its products. My character will be in question. Am I right?

1

I know, Judith, but I think some of the answers clarified that this might not be the case!

Jeff

You only see those ads because you were researching it. Other people will see the things they have been researching, so don't worry.

Thank you for clarifying it for me. Every time I turned on my site, there is an ad-blocking my view.

This is the first time I put ads on my site. Already I hate what I am seeing.

Hi - as regards Google AdSense, it doesn't show the same ads to everybody who visits your site. It shows ads related to what your visitor has recently searched for.

That is why you are seeing ads for the company you have been researching. But if I was to visit your site, because I have recently been looking at car insurance, I will see ads relating to that subject.

You are right, but I am the content publisher. It should not be showing me ads at the start of my site.
