I lost my essential mentalities website it is no long here on my websites page, is it possible to recover it?
When you say 5 months of no access, do you mean that you stopped paying your membership fee?
If yes, your website will have gone offline, and then deleted after 60 days.
If you have a backup, then you can restore this yourself, or send it to SiteSupport, for them to restore for you.
I seem to have all of my content backed up on content creator but that is all, is that considered a backup, or no?
SiteContent is not a true backup no, but you can create a new website and then copy & paste the Articles to new Articles and then publish them to your new website. Or you can just copy & paste directly to your new website.
If your membership did not lapse over the last 5 months, then there might be another issue. Sending a message to SiteSupport will clarify this for you.
You have been of much help, Chrystopher, thank you. I wish the best on your journey as a creator

Hi, yes. Site support back ups only are available for 60 days from time your membership ceased.
I hope you would have backed up site. I understand from your notes you have your articles on site content which is great.
In future you may back up using the AIO WP Migrations and Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended.

I edited two of my posts from site content, but it has been hours and the edited version does not appear on my page
Should be immediate! If you are not seeing it. Clear your browser cache. Should show then :)
Hey,
The moment you publish your page or post you can not edit from site content. You have to login to wordpress using the site manager tab. Once in worpress, select the post you wish to edit and click update.
Refresh the page to see the changes. If you do not see the changes, try clearing the websites cache.
Best of luck.
Marc.
It should be immediate. Remember to hit the "Update" key to the right in WordPress after making any changes/edits. Then if you are looking at your actual site after making the changes in WordPress, you would want to hit the refresh button.
I hope this helps. :)
Hi - once a post is published, you can't edit it using Site Content. All editing has to be done directly in WordPress.
