Hi, if this is the first blog you read about at my profile, I just want to say "Enjoy reading. And thank you for your time."

Well, refer to the title "English is not my first language. So what?" I would like to encourage non-native speakers like me to share your ideas and experiences in your own words. And please publish your posts on your website to kick start your online business.

The first day I joined WA, I am kinda worry about I couldn't catch up the training because it's full English-speaking video. But you know what, I have gone through training on WA until Level 2 now. Proud of myself.

Kyle simplified the process in walk through videos and it's really helpful for beginners. At first, I had no idea about building up online business and how to attract the online users. I didn't even know who is my niche and how to create my own website. There were so many "No idea", and "I don't know".

I'll never know if I don't try.

The first step was click on the "Training".

Difficult things on mind become simple by doing it step by step. WA is a good platform equipped with useful tools. I have my own website now --jaysiestyle.com

Please check it out.

As Kyle keeps reminding in the training, don't worry about grammar, there is a checking tool on content writing side. I will always use the tool to polish my grammar and spelling before I publish my post.

English is not my first language but I am glad I can share my ideas in English. I am happy to learn things in English. I am excited to communicate with my target audiences on my website and within WA community.

If English bothers you to take a first step, I hope you are encouraged in this post and trust WA. You are much better than you think. All the best!

English is a second language for me. I am fluent in 2 other languages on top of English. I find English to be very flexible in our abilities to write about or talk about a lot of things better than my two other languages where I sometimes find no words to describe things with.

Anyway, good luck with your adventure here at WA and the best to you here and beyond!

Joe

Jaysie, as a native English/English speaker let me reassure you that you have absolutley nothing to worry about when it comes to having it as your 2nd language.
There are plenty of native English speaking people around who could only wish to have your English language skills so just keep on doing what you're doing and you'll have no problem.
Best wishes and good luck.
Mark

This is a very encouraging post, Jaysie. I remember when I was just starting, and I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS STUFF.

Awesome post for the non-native English speakers of whom many I believe speak much better English than a native speaker like me! Well done! Jeff

Hey,

that's a great post. I'm also a non-native English speaker and the same thing worried me at first as well.

But as I took action and just jumped into it - the fear went away.

And now I am working with & writing for clients from all walks of digital marketing.

Also, it's very easy to improve - all you have to do is read more and listen to native speakers.

Tools such as Grammarly can definitely help - but you should also pay attention to sentence structure as well.

The more you practice your English - the better it gets so there's no reason to give up!

Keep up the good work!

Grammarly is an EXCELLENT tool to use! I would also like to give a shoutout to the Hemingway Editor - it's been more than helpful in improving the readability of my posts.
