Baller Crawlin

A friend of mine who is a young attorney hit a milestone in his career when he was able to have 2 custom dress shirts made by a guy who comes through Houston only once a year.  They take your measurements  to the finest detail and you pick the fabrics from a huge book.

 While my friend is taking his time looking through the book of fabrics a powerful business man walked in talking on his blue tooth headset.  The man got his measurements  done while cycling from one business call to the other.  He walked over to the fabric swatches and just pointed and called out "5, 3, 2, 2, 4, 1, 4".  The number of shirts he wanted in each fabric.  He layed out his black Amex card, signed the receipt and was out the door talking to person after person on his phone.

 My friend was amazed at this business man's efficiency  and said he was baller running and that he wanted to be baller running like that someday too.

(Baller= somebody that makes as much money as a ball player but then just became an expression meaning "I have a lot of money";)

My girlfriend told him he needed to baller crawl before he could baller run.  This has since become a big inside joke amongst us but is something that has really helped me to keep my focus.

 Before i can make the big money like all the success stories we read, i have to learn and focus on my foundation.   My few dollars that i've made thus far is my baller crawlin.  I'm ready to take some baller steps.
