Hi Jason, I used to have quite a lot running with Bing who were the most tolerant. Unfortunately, they've just closed me down.
My personal point of view is that as an affiliate in one of the big niches (health wealth, relationships) you have to be very careful about over-hyping anything on your landing pages.
If I were to go at this again (which I will) I will set up site just to recieve paid traffic with the only conversion being to provide a free ebook / training in return for email, high-quality stuff no outbound affiliate links, no hype, just help, collect your target audiences email address and market from there.

Sorry to hear about Bing shutting you down. That must be very irritating. Hopefully you can get started again soon. Have you tried Facebook ads?
This clarify's a lot for me. I was not sure whether to use my main site as the landing page with the outbound links to wealthy affiliate or to have a separate site with a landing page just to capture email addresses giving away a free eBook or something.
It Seems to me there a really 2 business models here.
Fist being a 3 page site, -landing page,thank you page and download page that links to the autoresponder to build a list. Which is normally used with paid traffic? ( I can't imagine you'd get high rankings in google with a site like this).
And the other. The main site which kind of like a blog for generating organic traffic with lots of keyword related content.
Have I got this right?
I'm just trying to make sense of everything. I have been working on organic ranking to my main site but am eager to find something I can scale quickly so want to start paid ad Campaigns.
Also are you using wordpress to build your landing page? any software or plugins you can recommend?
