Do I Have The Right Niche?
Many times I thought about whether my chosen niche would be effective enough to interest and attract readers. One day I stopped worrying about the ideal niche when I meditated about the REAL reason for my decision to embark on the internet affiliate marketing business. Then I remembered how my interest for on-line business was stirred about eight years earlier, when I ordered a training course that included books and CDs. It sat on my book shelves untouched, for years.
About nine months ago while going through my books, I saw it, picked it up and started reading it. I was out of work and needed to generate income. And I had decided that I would stop making money for someone else! If I could make money for someone else.... why would I not be capable of making my own money? I only read the first couple of chapters. There was something missing--why was I not motivated to continue with the training. I knew that for me there had to be a more important reason for pursuing this business, other than financial compensation.
I put my intention out there... to God and the universe, knowing without a doubt that the appropriate means would become clear and reachable. Soon after that, I came across Wealthy Affiliate while navigating the web. Somehow, I knew that I should look into this. It was what I was looking for, without a doubt. But the question of "the right niche" still remained.
I realized that I was setting myself back, and again meditated and prayed for answers. Suddenly, out of the blue, I knew that my utmost intention is to help others. My niche became crystal clear to me. My motivation to continue with my internet business has since been growing stronger, because my focus is primarily on how I can write content that will help my readers.
When in doubt about your niche, ask yourself "what motivates me." Even if what motivates you is the financial aspect, I dare say there has to be another reason, even if tiny, that moves you to feel good about yourself. Because money, my friends, comes and goes. The satisfaction that you are able to help others is way more rewarding, spiritually and everlasting.

Right! Money is only secondary. AS long as we're happy in what we are doing and we are able to help others, that's the best thing.WE will truly be happy knowing that we do a difference in someone else's life.
This is so true. My motivation has been the same throughout my life. The idea that I could help others from my home with my own website AND make money intrigued me.

One of the biggest things that you can do for others is to let them in on your journey!
Write about what it is like to make the realization that you need to make your own way, without a boss and without someone 'calling the shots' for you.
It could be a blog about your passion, your motivation and what you had to go through to get where you are and then, take them the rest of the way into success and money making!
Yes, it is connecting with those people by sharing your humanity and passion because we are all part of this game of life!
