And you own domains, just like real estate (but virtual). They will grow as an asset and there are many people here at WA with incredible domain portfolios.
One thing is a constant, they don't make MORE .com domains. Once you own it, you own it. As mentioned, they are $13.99 per year here for a .com (you can purchase other TLD's as well like .org, .net, etc)
