Happy Earth Day!

Today I added a new post about Earth Day on my site, Leafy Green Planet -- http://www.leafygreenplanet.com/happy-earth-day/

I'm learning about green products affiliate programs for one of my niche blogs. Now I have ShareASale, LinkConnector and Amazon Affiliate accounts (Adsense, too). I'm working my way through Affiliate Bootcamp (Course 1, Lesson 7) and the Certification Courses (Course 2, Level 2) which seems like slow progress. However, the past few weeks I've been skipping around a bit, getting to know the WA website, making connections with the WA community, posting comments on member sites, answering questions when I could -- even tried helping out in Live Chat, which was fun!

I've watched quite a few training videos, studied keywords for days and days (and found some real gems), and now I'm trying to get a basic understanding of all aspects of affiliate marketing, an area that has eluded me until I joined WA (only 3 weeks ago?) The learning curve feels very steep, especially when I tried out various plugins for ads, tried to add links to products on Amazon, and well, it didn't go as planned. Not there yet. (I'll be posting questions soon!)

I came to WA with a working knowledge of Wordpress, and a few niche blogs, but I see now there's so much more to methodically building an online business. The good news is that all the tools and resources I need are right here. One foot in front of the other, and it will happen soon enough. Good luck to everyone working on something new, something hard. It will be worth the effort, I have no doubt.
