A couple of months ago I made a commitment to make a contribution on Wealthy Affiliate every morning before going off to work at my J.O.B. I can usually get in 45 minutes to an hour, which gives me time to reply to other members comments and messages they may have left. I can also make alterations to my site, edit my posts or welcome new members to W.A.
I enjoy the sense of achievement each morning by keeping to this commitment, and it definitely helps with focus. Having that hour or so at the beginning of the morning to work on my Wealthy Affiliate site is great and sets me up for the day.
This morning however was slightly different as I only had about 10 minutes to work on W.A. before I had to shoot off. I quickly managed to read a couple of member's blog posts and welcomed just one new member. Still, I was pleased that I managed to keep to my commitment, even though it was only a few minutes.
Normally I would have got out of bed even earlier but I'd been working on my Niche 'til the early hours for the previous three nights, so I was dog tired.
Although I did less with W.A. This morning, I still felt good. Later that good feeling was to get even greater.

I was in work early this morning as the company I work for volunteered to beach clean. We had contacted Surfers Against Sewage (S.A.S.) and agreed to meet at a local Cornish beach and pick up all the plastic we could find.
It was pretty cold and windy, but about 15 of us plus a couple of children met up at Church Cove just outside Helston. The S.A.S. representative first gave us a beach safety talk and what to look for and pick up, provided gloves and collection bags then off we went. Some of the group paired up others went off by themselves and met up later.
I chose to go off alone, so that I could have some time to myself and reflect. Although initially unsure how I would feel about what I was about to do, it didn't take long for me to realise.
After just picking up a couple of small bits of plastic (micro plastics) and some bottle top and small piece of fisherman's rope, I felt immensely happy. Strangely in that very short space of time my mind was racing, I was thinking, wow! the actions I'm taking now and the work I'm doing here could save a small sea creature from injury, or stop a seal suffering, or a dolphin from dying or ultimately even a whale.
As I continued the beach clean the good feeling.increased, I knew I was doing a great service and the right thing.
I then began to draw parallels with Wealthy Affiliate, and how I felt when working on my W.A. projects. Knowing that I was giving a good service, knowing I was helping people learn great information, knowing that it was the right place to be and knowing how happy people feel when they find Wealthy Affiliate.
On top of all that positive feeling I came up with some great ideas for posts in my niche.
Yep! this morning was good, really good.
So if you ever feel that Wealthy Affiliate is hard to do, or that you can't think of anything to write, or going through the training is tough - Go and volunteer to clean a beach (or a river or lake side shore) in your area. Not only will you feel good about yourself, but whilst picking up the litter and pondering, you'll get lots of valuable thinking time and great ideas to help you with Wealthy Affiliate.
