Newbie Questions are we answering them right

It is great that we all want to help. It is also great that we do answer questions that the new people ask.

Instead of giving advice that jumps them ahead of the lessons is not good. If they are very tech savvy probably ok. If they are illiterate like me the best advice would to tell them to follow the lessons.

Kyle and Carson has laid out a plan that works. If new members follow those plans they can not miss. That is unless they are trying to fail.

I see questions ask about getting sign in to their website and have not completed the certification courses as of yet. Not good. You know the old saying "plan to win or plan to fail" Something like that.

I may be wrong about this. I can think back when I first started if I had skipped the next lesson I probably would be done, failed and broke.

So lets take in to consideration what the question is before we answer. Most of us can tell if a person should go ahead or go back.

Thank you for letting an old man rant just a little. And Good Luck

I agree but we still need to be aware of how answer their questions because some people do not quite understand the lessons all the best Max

Yes I understand that. We can answer their questions and then tell them to go follow the lessons. If they do not want to then that is on them
But I do understand where you are coming from

I know a lot of people are skipping lessons, because they ask questions which are definitely handled in the Getting Started lessons

Yes that is the point I was trying to make. Kyle and Carson has spent a lot of time and money building this community. So follow the lessons.

I agree. If I had not gone through all the lessons I would be completely lost right now. However, there are people out there that just want to skip ahead and no matter how many times you tell them to go through the lessons they don't listen and still want to ask that question. This is why I tell them where to go to get the proper training and answer their question too. Good advice.

Thank you
I know their are some that can probably skip ahead I am not one of them. After being here a year I still have to go back to the lesson for a refresher.

You're welcome
I am the same way at times. Granted I have only been here for a month come Sunday, but I still find myself going back to stuff I literally just learned because I completely forgot how to do something. lol!! At least we are both very thorough and know not to rush it.
