Slow But Steady

I have been a part of Wealthy Affiliate since August and I am learning a lot. Some weeks I have not been as proactive as I should but I am getting a lot better. I have been setting aside time everyday even if it is just an hour so that I can learn from the training and put time into my business. If you are reading this and discouraged because you have not seen the results that you want to see yet just realize that it is coming. All the effort that you are putting in now will pay off shortly if you just continue to stick with it. I

My goals for the next month are to have 25 referrals and have my website polished. I may not be able to make the Vegas event next year but I am going to progress and better my business every week instead of giving up. I know that making large sums of money is not just handed out to people unless they win the lottery. lol. By the end of next year I want to be able to quit from my job and support my self from my online business.

Good luck, Jamel. Keep pressing...

Hi Jamel, how true! Slow but Steady wins the race eventually. Here's to your success at WA!

Slow and Steady! I'm sure that approach will reap benefits as you go! Thanks for the insightful blog. I'm learning from the experience of those who are just keeping at it...not quitting...and doing something everyday.

Jamel, slow and steady is the best way to go. Rushing can lead to burnout and making mistakes as you go along. It took Kyle 6 or so months to start really making something out of the internet. I don't rush, and I haven't made anything, but that is why I keep tweaking my website as I learn something new. It is an ongoing process. I firmly believe that if I head in the right direction I am going to be successful. You have set in place a vision for your future and your faith in that will get you there.

Yea I noticed that there were people who were burnt out because they thought they were going to start making money really quick but I am making sure that I am putting some time and effort into my business every day. It might take me a while to start seeing significant results but I know they will be there.

Best of luck in reaching these new goals. Nice to hear such determination

Beverley

Thanks I appreciate it.

I like your post Jamel and I wholeheartedly agree with you as this is my experience as well.

I love WA and it's an important part of my life. It is still a new thing in my life and I am working on making room for learning and growing here as well as in other ways that have come up lately that are just as important to me.

There are many ways to succeed - giving up isn't one of them. I like slow and steady if that's what we can do and I know that we'll get there.

Best and many blessings to you! :-)

Yea I feel you . Sometimes it is easy to throw in the towel when you dont make a lot of money quick. I have run into a bunch of scams sites promising instant success for doing almost nothing.

In the long run, or short run, you can make more than you may even imagine possible right now. And, you can do what you love, too! So, quitting isn't an option...I'm in it for good. :-)

Thanks how has your business been going so far?

It's slow and steady. ;) I write but need to post much more content and I've not monetized my site, yet. I'm enjoying the process, it's a journey in many ways. :)

Cool mine has been slow as well but I am still going to keep going. I have just been doing a lot of posts but have not monetized my website either. I should have mine fully up and functioning in the next week or two.

What is your niche?

Here's the link to my site www.thewealthiestlife.com It's a site about creating inner and outer wealth. If you have a look, feel free to comment - honestly. :)

Cool I will check it out. How long did it take you to build it?

It takes only a few minutes to build a site as you follow the training. The longest part of that is deciding on a theme. LOL

And as you follow the training it also doesn't take much time to organize the pages and posts, and add and set up good plug-ins. The key to success is adding content - I need much more. I am happy with what I've done and posted so far but I'm beginning to rest too long on my laurels. ;)

Yea I am working on my content now. I have been really busy the past couple of days but I will have atleast six hours to work on it today.
