What to do if my website says not secure?

Many people here including myself have seen this error at some point with our websites. Most often it's when you first set-up your website, this could be due to the fact that your website is propagating. Basically it can take time for your website to update to the name servers for WA (wealthy affiliate). That being said I would say 9 times out of 10 this can be fixed simply by turning off the Free SSL.

To do this go to websites & hosting,

Then this should take you to your site manager, find the website or websites that you are having issues with,

Then click the siteplus+ link this will open up the siteplus+ section for that website,

Once inside click to turn off the Free SSL,

allow that to update for a moment, then turn the free SSL back on!

Majority of the time this simple thing will fix the issue.

If for some reason this doesn't fix your issue Marion has done a full tutorial post earlier this year to help people resolve the issue.

You can view her tutorial here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co...

If for some reason my advice and Marion's doesn't work I would contact support to see if they can assist you to resolve the issue.

Best of luck to you all, and if I don't speak to you in the near future Happy Holidays!

That didn't fix it for me. I had issues, and I went over every page and post in the editor mode to find the http links which gave me the "i" insecure error.
Marion helped me terrific with all kind of plugins and at last, it gave the green padlock

Yes sometimes there can be some things that are overlooked or that you don't know about that cause the error. Marion has helped many people with her tutorial and the plugins she suggest to help with this issue.

Thanks for the info. -Jim Schupbach

No problem, just wanted to address this issue again because it's a common error I see people ask about in the chat.

Like setting of pc and on again...
;-)

Exactly sometimes if your pc freezes or has an issue the best thing to do is turn it off and turn it back on. So this is sort of like that.
