Progress Report from a Newbie

Hi all,

Just a quick update on my progress so far. I joined about 2 weeks ago and have learned so much. It feels good to have written 4 posts so far. I worry I may run out of compelling ideas. I have new found respect for Bloggers. It isn't easy. I'm looking forward to learning how to monetize my site. The niche I went with is about wine. I focus on things like wine-themed gifts and activities. I chose wine because well...I love it! I felt I could speak passionately about this subject. I get it now why you need to pick something you are so passionate about. If you have to wake up and face that topic everyday, you better feel some passion for it otherwise it will be too much of a chore. I am truly hoping that I find financial gain here. I'll continue to work hard to get there. I want to thank the community for the awesome support. I couldn't do it without you. Cheers, Jackie
