Word count
So I've managed to get my 2nd post up in under 24 hours, but I did struggle to make the 1000 word count, ending around 890.
How crucial is it to hit the 1000 word target? Once I saw that the circle was green, I felt like I had written enough. What I didn't want to do, was to start waffling.
Let me know your thoughts. What is your word count range, generally?

Don't worry about it. Many good posts are shorter than 1000 words. Having some long posts is good but they don't all have to be long. Quality is more important than quantity.
Zed is so right. Quality content is what matters. Don't try to 'stretch it out' just to add more words.
Best of luck to you in 2019!

Those are guidelines not rules Ikem ...
Yes, the longer the better. But, this is not mass production. What really matters is quality. If you can create original, helpful content in 5,000 words, go for it. If you said everything in 500 words, is still OK. Don't write just to increase the total word count.

Thank you for sharing, Izu.
I suggest you do research on the topics if you have no idea. Or you can write on something that you like, it will be a non-stop writing if something you love. Ha. Of course, the content and the quality are the crucial ones :o)
