3 weeks and counting
I can't believe its been 3 weeks already. Did I achieve all I wanted to in this period? Am i happy with my progress? Could i have done it on my own? All bloody good questions...
It took me a little longer than most to sign up to WA as I did probably more research then I should have but I wanted to be sure, and sure I am! I think the training materials and support of the community is awesome. At the outset I was super excited and fired up and set some high goals for myself, which is pretty normal for me and something i have to watch because often times I'm setting myself up for some sort of failure.I planned to write a blog a day which I thought was quite achievable but bearing in mind that I've got a full time job and a couple of young kids, its not as easy as a thought. In addition, blogging is not THAT easy and its not just the blogging but getting the layout correct, making sure you have the right keywords and then finding images. its a lot to pack in. But I'm not making excuses, honest! Anyway looking back, I think the website looks pretty good www.italianbraveheart.com (all about my experiences in moving to Italy from the UK). Have a look, I'm trying to throw some humour into the mix.
I still don't know if I have the niche right, i guess we all go through that at some point...is is too broad...Moving to Italy? I can see some product sales from this but am worried about the big ticket items, hopefully that will come to me over the coming weeks. Any feedback is appreciated?
I think the biggest success for me has been the realisation that I can make a big success out of this and its nice to work on a new project with thousands of like-minded individuals, it gives me a buzz. I'm also proud that I have stuck it out this far and am excited about the future with you guys. No sales just yet but that will come.
Looking forward to the next 3 and 6 months I can see big things. I hope that during month 3 we start to see the beginning of some revenue appearing and then by month 6 I'd like to achieve at least £500 per month with at least 2 websites. The plan is then to give up work by the end of the year.
See you soon.
Brendan

Well, Brendan! I absolutely love your website! well, done and looking forward to more!! Great job and obviously you are doing your lessons!♥
You have worked hard on your site and it is looking great as you go you will naturally flow to another aspect perhaps
Thanks for the kind words Katie. I'm still not sure about the niche..moving to italy. I'm battling a bit with the big ticket items. No doubt it will all come to me one night!
Hey Brendan,
You are moving right along with your site. Took a look and looks pretty good.
I hope you achieve your goals and make some money.
The niche may be a bit broad, but you can narrow it down as you go if you find that will help
Good luck!
Sheila
Thanks Sheila. There is still some work to be done on the web but we are getting there...always positive!!

Setting goals is a good thing and progress is still progress even if it's not at the pace you envisioned.
I thought I set some reasonable goals when I first started and I still think they were reasonable. But as you say, real life does have a tendency to get in the way and other responsibilities as well. We can't let WA become our whole life and I'm sure most others here would agree.
The main thing is to keep working at when you can, not giving up. Do the training and ask for help when you need it and success will happen.
I don't know how long you have been in your new place but I hope you are enjoying your new surroundings. All the best Brendan.
thanks for the kind words of encouragement Wayne. We've been here 2 and a half years now. Its all still very new!
