Using YouTube for Free Advertising

Hi,

Just wanted to share a little on using YouTube to get totally free advertising.

If, for instance you want to promote a Clickbank product, obtain the affiliate promotional material, and look for any videos that may be there.

Download the video to your computer, add an "intro" and "outro" to the video. (lots of software that will allow you to do this.)

Then, for the product you are going to promote, do your keyword research, and use those keywords to search in Google. Only use the keywords, which when searched have "videos" on page 1 for your keyword. Only use longtail keywords, as you will be able to rank easier for them.

Then you will need to create a thumbnail. My cover image at the top is one I created for some webinar software I am promoting. (There are lots of software available to create thumbnails, many are free.

Then, and this is a step most people will leave out, using your thumbnail, create a small description for each one, do not even add a link. You will be using these as tests only, to see if you can rank on page one for each keyword.

Then, download each keyword related thumbnail to YouTube Live Event. You will of course need a YouTube account, and then set it up for Live Event. You do not need to include your video at this time, as you are only looking at what thumbnails will rank.

Once downloaded, check each one to see where each of your keywords rank.

Make a note of each keyword that gets you on the 1st page, and save.

Now, create a better description for each keyword, making sure your keyword is included at least twice in your decription. Make sure also you include your link on the first or second line of text. (the only lines that show in Google)

Now download each thumbnail separately to YouTube Live Event.

In addition, you can now also use that same thumbnail, using your different keywords, and links and download your video that you created earlier to YouTube.

For each download, use a different link. You can use prettylinks from your website to create different links for your product you are promoting.

Then, you can also place a post on your website which reviews your product, and include a link to that product in your post.

Now if you want to take this a little further, instead of directly promoting your product, you can set up a landing page, which you will send traffic to, which will send your customers to your autoresponder. Many products have email swipes which to can add to your autoresponder, and this method also allows you to obtain your customers email address.

You may also want to provide a free download first, before directing them to your offer.

In conclusion, you can do all the above very inexpensively, you can get free traffic, and you don't even need a wesite.

This does take some time to setup, but once done, you never have to touch again for a long time.

Regards,

Irving
