Arrghhh! Do I have writers block?
I'm sitting at my desk today to continue my training and one of the tasks is that I need to do is to write another article. The doubts have set in...is anyone out there reading what I am writing? Is anyone reading more than the first few lines? Is anyone interested in what I am writing?
I've done my research and carefully chosen a few key words for my next blog post...the key words look great on the top of a very empty page. I bold the font type...I underline it...then I put it into italics...then I change the font a few times...sound familar?...I think the official term is "procrastinating". Doesn't matter that I know what its official title is, I am still doing it. A lot!
Two coffees later...still playing with the font type.
Also, I found a great website that sells the most amazing red shoes...sigh!
Don't think today is the day for creativity.
Oh well, its sunny outside so maybe I can do some gardening instead!
And with that thought, I have come up with an idea for my blog. So the thought of gardening scared me more than writing...well that's procrastination in action!
One thing I realised doing this, its ok to have an "off day"...just keep at it. Little steps.

Writer's block is a very recurring thing in many fields, and it often happens when we're moving in a constant roundabout and we don't know how to get out of it. So, I definitely agree with the idea of taking a day off (or even a longer time) whenever it happens, because that well desired rush of inspiration comes from the least expected thing at the least expected time.
