I have a fear of failure also. Don't really know why and have decided that wondering about it is useless, but overcoming it is absolutely necessary!
Hi Kathy, well i've written about the fear of failure on my blog - link above. I believe the fear of failure boils down to a fear of criticism (in most circumstances). Then the fear of criticism boils down even further to a primal need to avoid harm (both physical and mental). I'm going to be writing some articles over the next week or so, just getting one little project out of the way before i get to it.
