Been Here, Staying Here, Doing it!

Now before I go to bed I want to do a little post even though it is nearly 3 o clock in the morning. I find that happening to me a lot since I joined Wealthy Affiliate. Looking up at the clock on the wall to see that it is about 3 or 4 hours later than I thought it was. I now have to set my alarm to tell me when to GO TO BED otherwise I get carried away and find the sun coming up on the horizon and I am still sitting at my desk! Now I need to get someone to wake me up in the mornings as I don't hear the alarm as a result of having had too little sleep but I don't mind that at all :) I know why I am doing it!

I am now well into my first week of training but I am still working my 'day job' which although it is my own business, doesn't hold the allure for me that the internet does since I joined WA. I am absolutely fascinated that I can reach out to the whole world in an instant and learn how to make a good living by getting involved with things that I am passionate about, no matter how off the wall or obscure.

Having such a massive reach (once one knows how to attract and manage traffic) can be a little intimidating.... Will I say things that interest others? Will I mess up? will I make myself a laughing-stock or get myself banned? At this point, I am being true to myself and jumping in at the deep end. And do you know what? I am meeting awesome people, making new friends, educating and empowering myself to live my life the way I want to and finding that each day I relax a little more into this awesome (for me) new world!

While I am learning, I have to keep telling myself to slow down. I think I want to know everything all at once. When starting something new, it is always very confusing not knowing what you don't know. But then I won't always be 'new' to it all. Already I am starting to feel a little more comfortable, mostly because of getting to know the awesome people here, going through the courses and the training put up by the awesome ambassadors and experiencing great support when and as I need it, regardless of the different time zones.

In the first couple of days when I hit a snag, I immediately panicked! Now I have learned to get up from my desk, do something to relax like walk outside into the sun for a few minutes and smell the fresh air, and when I get back to the computer, somehow I find a way to get that snag sorted. It might take a few tries, but when I do get it, it is so satisfying. So a tip from a beginner to other beginners, don't worry, if you don't know it all now, if you keep up with the course, you WILL know it eventually. Keep moving forward through the training and interacting with the WA Family as every step will take you closer to success so long as you keep taking the steps with little pauses to catch your breath in between of course. Remember we are being guided by people who know what they are doing as, after all, they have done it and are still doing it, and growing the community!!

And we have access to it all!

Look at this amazing platform that Carson and Kyle have built up and the amazing people who are a part of it, those behind the scenes as well and know that this is a very special place. I couldn't ask to be in a better place at a better time. Well, actually... I do wish I had arrived here many years ago, but then everything happens in perfect time and the important thing is that I am here now.
