Are you ahead of the pack, behind or somewhere in the middle.
This is a follow-up to last weeks blog regarding picking a SUITABLE Niche. The internet gods or the web masters of this site have recently posted webinars addressing this very issue. Of course the WA gurus entitled it as something else. I wonder if they read my recent blog or was it the collective energy of this site that screamed "I can't find my niche" Or something else?
What is a suitable niche for you?
Good question
Answer: Whatever turns you on.
I watched Tim's recent video on Affiliate Marketing. He covered the ease of AM and why people make it difficult. The main take aways for me was CONTENT is King and google is the best source of FREE traffic.
As a beginner I was overwhelmed with all the information on the internet covering basically everything. So I tried to learn it all social media, adsense, adwords etc. Learning various forms of social media and researching a niche is enough to leave even the experts bewildered, dissillusioned and flabbergasted.
Me included.
How could I a newbie develop an email list, publish a newsletter, leverage social media, write content, do product reviews, SEO my meta data, milk the cows, feed the chickens and walk the dogs in the course of a lifetime? Answer: I can't. I was getting WAY behind the pack. What was I doing wrong? I saw others zooming by me at light speed and thought what are they using? taking? or bribing?
Tim said to focus on one thing: write good content that people will find valuable, entertaining, awesome or just plain inspiring.
Do that with your content, then the Google gods will reward you with a favorable ranking. Then soon you will have FREE organic traffic. ( not genetically modified traffic but real organic traffic with no fillers or perservatives.)
So I am stepping up my previous writing goals to three to four posts a week. Can I do it? We will see. I found a niche that turns me on!!!
