Feeling overwhelmed with too many choices?

I just received this great email that I would like to share.

Ever feel like there are just too many choices and

paths to take when it comes to building your
online business?

Do you end up getting confused and end up going
nowhere?

Do you wake up to an inbox full of emails from
dozens of marketers all trying to sell you the
latest and greatest things?

Here's my advice..

(and NO this is not leading to a sales pitch
so you can put down your wallet)

You're suffering from information overload..

and the best way to cure it is to slow down,
take a step back and ask yourself this...

"What am I trying to achieve?"

Of course you're trying to earn money on the
internet.. but it's how you answer that will
help you overcome information overload.

A few dollars to help pay bills?

Earn enough to quit my job?

Make bongo bucks and live like a rockstar?

Just doing it as a hobby?

Then ask yourself..

"What am I doing to get there?"

We all know there are hundreds of ways to
earn money on the internet.

And that's why it's confusing..

Which route do you take?

My advice here is to choose ONE method..

I highly recommend list building
and affiliate marketing.

It's simple..

I won't say it's easy but setting up a
squeeze page and driving traffic
to it is simple. Anyone can do it!

And when you build a list, you will have
that communication channel
to send messages to any time.

So here's how you go about it...

Pick a niche, create a free bribe to
giveaway in exchange for their email
address, set up a squeeze page website
(1 or two pages), drive traffic
and start building a relationship with
your subscribers.

Don't get distracted - Stay focused!

AND THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT!

Don't be a slave to your inbox...

UNSUBSCRIBE from email lists that fill
up your inbox with pitch after pitch
after pitch and don't offer ANY value
to help you!

Trust me, you WON'T miss anything by
unsubscribing from newsletters
that send you nothing but pitch after
pitch and offer you no good advice.

Stick with a few good teachers you like
and trust who provide good solid
advice to help you get where you want
to go.

When you remove distractions like too
many emails, you'll be able to stay
focused on building your list.

It is repetitive and it may seem like
it's taking a long time to build a list but
stick with it! That's the key.

Remember this little (rant) lesson
and you'll be in good shape!

To your success,

Stu Sensei Stirling

Get Website, Thanks

Kerrie, I agree with the email content. You will learn to do exactly this process here at WA. You can add an opt-in form to your site to build your list and to establish relationships with your visitors and customers. All of this takes a little time. It is all about timing, doing things in the right order and at the right time for your business.

Thanks for sharing the email. I agree with Mike, you have the right teachers and advice here at WA, at your fingertips! ~ Jude

I think if you take the courses here that is best practice -- all the "advice" you need is all laid out for you already -- and all the teachers you need are here. I notice many folks do have more than one iron in the fire, and perhaps not the worst plan not to have all your eggs in one basket -- but I would not have too many eggs going at a time :) And I notice many folks do have more than one site they are working with -- but as far as credibility it would be hard to surpass what is right here... Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the advice, I think you are right.

I love my Inbox.
I get so much practice deleting because of it.
Nice post but I agree with BIS about the small sites.

The tip about not being a slave to your inbox is a good one. The idea of setting up a site with just a couple of pages is outdated now and I wouldn't recommend it.
