Hi All,
I'm in the UK and wondered when creating posts is there any advantage to linking to US affiliates. I would think there are much more around. What strategy do UK
looks like there is no advantage to doing either. Will stick to sterling I think. Thanks for the response.
Hi Ian how often do you buy from the US. Never I would suggest, I know I wouldn't think of it. So I would stick with sterling. Also, your audience would not understand the value of the item unless in stirling.
I could, but that could confuse the user I think. I'll try it just in sterling to start off and learn from that.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I have bought things listed in euros. I just Google euros to dollars and find out the real price
It would depend on your audience, where are they based? Most of my sites target UK customers, so I always use GBP and UK companies/affiliates
my niche is Pets so I could link to either UK or US. I think it makes it easier in GBP as some of the US sites I don't know anything about. Linking to PetsAtHome or AmazonUk etc is probably going to be best for me. Thanks you for the info anyway.
As you are in the UK and know the companies, I would definitely stick to the ones you mentioned :-) Also, just to add, your niche won't be pets as they don't use the internet ;-) Your niche will be the owners of the pets :-) So it depends where those owners are located :-)
