Love your mistakes
I've been reading a lot of Robert kiyosaki lately (author of rich dad poor Dad) and I keep coming across this phrase I wanted to share with everyone. He says "whoever has the most mistakes, usually is the wealthiest, as long as you learn from them mistakes".
He goes on to explain that school is the only place we are taught to not make mistakes, and that's the only place it really applies. If you don't make a mistake or error of any sort then how can you really learn. (Not advocating you shouldn't learn from school, but in the real world most doesn't apply)
The point is don't be too hard on yourself. If something doesn't go your way... Pick yourself up, examine it, and learn from it, so when you move on you'll know how to overcome that obstacle next time it arises ๐

Great insights. Isnโt it ironic that the people who have succeeded the most have also failed the most! Edison is the classic example. When his experiments to invent the light bulb failed, he said heโs one step closer to success. And he eventually succeeded. Cheers! Edwin
Your right, I believe he failed over 1000 times but some of those failures were inventions made by accident that science still uses today, plus a few tries after was when he got the lightbulb right ( with the help of Tesla that is lol)
Great insight, I appreciate the post ๐
Excellent perception, wouldn't you say?? I've had my share of mistakes or oops. They are not fun to find, but a blast to show off when corrected! ๐
Yay Us Indeed!! ๐

I heard a similar quote when I botched a job as an apprentice toolmaker. โHe who never makes mistakes never makes anything.โ
Nice, I like that one. I'm a toolmaker as well ( for the time being that is). All I ever hear is " if it's not smoking, it's not running" lol I'll have to use that if you don't mind ๐
Wise thoughts. Of course it makes me wonder why we expect one thing from school and another from the real world. Guess I'm overanalyzing... thanks

This advise is extremely helpful when performing any task when money, especially another's money is not involved. I look at my mistakes that way.

Excellent advice. Whatโs the old saying... if you fall off the horse just dust yourself off and get right back on... or something along those words.
I think life would be pretty boring if we didnโt take risks and challenge ourselves.
Thanks for sharing.
I agree, no risk no reward. You only live once ( that we know of) so why not do it in style :-)
