Not a bad idea. It may not happen, however, so until it does we need to work off information that is available to us. My thoughts on this topic are like this:

Kyle has been open about it taking him 3-4 months to make his first dime. He says he made a decent amount at about 6 months. After a year or so, he was making enough to go on his own. Others have talked about a year or two (see a few posts I mentioned in my comment below).

Of course, Kyle was a young guy when he started and probably didn't have all that much income to replace. If you are trying to replace $100,000, it's going to take significantly longer than someone who needs to replace only $25,000, obviously.

Then there are the factors of individual pace, so an answer would have to give "guidelines" as to required activity on a weekly basis to make any sense. Plus, the varying knowledge of websites, internet marketing, marketing in general, and other technical stuff will have some bearing on the time.

All these factors make it very hard to give one answer that will be applicable to everyone.

So, certainly we need to assume that this is at least a one- to two-year journey. Hopefully, along the way, we start seeing the fruit of our labors and begin to see the curve that will bring us to our individual goal.

Thanks for posting this information. It goes to show that if you put in the time and dedication it will happen. I can understand people not coming forward to how much they make but this proves there are some that are making this kind of money.
