Product Reviews and Paranoia
Things I learn on my rollercoaster of trying this internet-money-making thing for real for the first time:
1. I'm very bad at taking things slowly and thoughtfully.
2. I throw myself into things COMPLETELY.
3. I write pretty fast - but editing takes an eternity.
4. Click the "open link in new tab" box the FIRST time you edit a photo.
5. My niche can evolve, change, grow - whatever I want it to. Turns out, there are ways that I can grow my content to encourage people to click through affiliate links. (just like the training says...huh.)
Thanks to my encouraging mentor on my last post - I sat myself down for a "you've only been at this less than a week" talk. I have a bunch to learn, and I'm learning it! That counts as success, just as much as a nickel in my pocket.
My first product review is up, and I'm proud of it. Sure, it's not SUPER SNAZZY. But it's a non-super-selly, helpful, encouraging review with affiliate links :D
I can go to bed happy.
Best to you all,
Hilary
