The Light at the End of the-Funnel?
WHAT ARE FUNNELS?
As a kid, I first saw my Dad using a funnel to pour gasoline into the gas tank of his car. My Mom used one to refill the dish detergent. Funnels come in all shapes and sizes and have been around forever, simplifying our lives.
Funnels are also referred to as funnel clouds, or tornados. I learned that from The Wizard of Oz as a child. The tinman also has a funnel on the top of his head!
But, in today's society, there is a different kind of funnel---a funnel used online as a way to absorb people's interest in a product or service. (There were no computers way back in the day when I was a little girl.)
CLICK FUNNELS.
One of the best decisions I've made on my journey here, was to join and implement a platform called Click Funnels. Their top-rate promotional training with incentives draws internet marketers in. I took the training and they sent me a free "Build Funnels - #funnelhacker" computer sticker (that's now on my computer), a t-shirt (that's on the way) and a free domain name for the funnel I created through the training. They walked me through the whole set up and I now have 3 great funnels to advertise 3 of my businesses!
Click Funnels is free to join, but upgrading with a monthly fee of $19 will make your experience more lucrative. It's a wonderful platform for building funnels!
A GREAT WAY TO DRAW TRAFFIC.
Connecting to the outside world through a funnel will lure in your traffic! Linked to your website, Social Media page or group, email, or capture page, a funnel shines a bright light at the end, where people will voluntarily step into your deal, put their email down, and click on to your product or service.

Wow that was so cool, loved your story. I must do it! Funnels are unique. But the funnel your speaking of, I have known about for sometime. So yes I will implement tunnels into my website for many reasons. Tunnels are like life, so many ways to enjoy them and have peace of mind.

I have done plenty of organic methods of free promoting methods of advertising over the years and often I wonder if all the time and effort is really worth it in using funnels Erin..
Have you implemented this practice yet and how much of a difference have you noticed since you made the change would love to see the numbers on this when ever it is possible to monitor and create stats on how it improved traffic to your website.
I have known website owners that started using funnels but quickly abandoned them when I asked them why they simply said the increase in traffic was not noticeable enough for them to mess with them.
I remember one owner about 3 years ago told me his only increase in traffic was estimated at an additional 5 visitor to his website, but I wondered if he was using them efficiently and effectively as he could have been
Would love to hear how this progresses and the results that are accomplished by this newly taught practice that you have gained to use in promoting your website.

Thanks for your input, Calvin. Interesting facts you share. I hope that doesn't apply to everybody! In the training at Click Funnels, it shows how to implement them for the best results. I am still making my way through it all and have just presented the other two. I will post as my numbers increase. :)

Sales funnels are a tricky one because if they're not optimized properly - in terms of text, font style, colours, imagery, videos, opt-in forms, etc, they can suck at converting traffic into subscribers and customers.
Sales funnel building is much different to blogging. But if done right, funnels can explode your business.
There's one guy on my Facebook list who's just poured a lot of money into promoting his sales funnel via solo ads and has made $5K+ within his first 30 days.
The unprofitable folks are the ones with either ineffective funnels and/or don't drive enough targeted high-quality traffic.
I've heard of many CF users having success with Facebook ads and solo ads from Udimi vendors.
If you join one of the CF Facebook groups, there are plenty of experts who will give you the best advice ;)

Yes I suspected it was the user and not the application method that was the error.
I did fail to mention in my original reply, I have also know some individuals that swear by funnels and they use it as their primary source of traffic gathering.

Indeed, there are some very profitable funnel hackers out there. In fact, there are some successful marketers who will give you 'Done-For-You' funnels.
But you'll still need to buy into the funnel software, tracking software, and also an autoresponder. Plus you'll need cash to get started with paid traffic. So it's not a cheap starting point.

Probably easier because they've done the hard bit for you (unless you're referring to the FB group lol). I think in Funnel Hacker's Cookbook, Russell has already designed a share funnel for every industry/Biz model ready for you to plug n' play. :)

Yup, funneling sure is a lot of fun and VERY effective!
But it's a beast all by itself and something that noobs need plenty of training on, especially with Click funnels with SO many features.
I bought DotCom Secrets, Expert Secrets, 108 Proven Split Test Winners, Funnel Hacker's Cookbook, and a free trial of Funnel University - all if which I'm still slowly reading through lol.
But once the blogging's off the ground, I intend to invest most of the profits into sales funnels for extra affiliate promotions :)

Cool, the cookbook's great and saves a lot of time! If you get around to it, I DEFINITELY recommend DotCom Secrets because there's a lot of stuff I learned that I didn't know on funnels, and there are some cool insights from Russell that benefits bloggers as well ;)

Interesting post Erin, I hsve previously used Click Funnels, mainly because I have known Russell for years, well since I started marketing online : ) so I figured that this would be worthwhile
BUT, that said, I stopped using it, after a good while, for many diferent reasons, among them, it didn't have a couple of things I wanted specifically, I have found them elsewhere and they work really well.
This is not decrying CF in any way, because I know lots of people who are realy pleased with it, it just wasnt for me

That's great you contact them, Dave! I've talked directly and shared audio messages with Alonzo Brown---and talked with him in simulcasts. He has a program that is pretty awesome that I've just implemented, along with several other programs.

I have to 100% agree with you I love clickfunnels. I have been using this program for a good while now.
It has helped me gain some email subs. Also it is a neat way to learn another way of marketing and promoting instead of just using your website.
Also if I don’t know if you know but you can get the clickfunnels plugin and you can make your whole domain a landing page or squeeze page. A lot of other things which I really like about clickfunnels

I have used it to make a single page a funnel on my site so. If you posted it on social media it would look like this as an example yoursite.com/signup
Then instead of it going to your blog it would be your funnel collect email with your thank you page plus your sales page to WA or whatever you are promoting.
It is a pretty nifty and handy tool to have in your arsenal.
I know some would recommend thrive themes I’ve CF but CFyou can use without a website thrive themes you need a website to make it work since it is a plugin you know?
