1 month down
HI WA Friends.
It has been a month. I have learned a lot and have a million usernames and passwords to remember (affiliate programmes, website hosts, emails etc).
3 Obstacles
My biggest obstacle this far was getting accepted in the affiliate programmes that I wanted to be associated with. Some of them still have not answered me back. This makes things hard because I have a set plan for my contents. (pages and posts)
Also, I am from New Zealand. This made it tricky. My search results and niche planning was different from someone that lives in the US. New Zealand has few bloggers, few affiliate programmes etc. I am hard to cater for the people of my country, but not to loose business if people from other countries were to come across my site.
3) English is not my first language and sometimes I feel insecure about my writing, I wonder if people who can not write should be blogging at all?
Also, I have made only $5, but that's okay. I have loved every second of it. I will carry on and live in hope that this can be a sustainable business.
Thanks
Bye

Hi Helena, I recognize your obstacles, English isn't my first language too, I live in the Netherlands, keep going though, there are a lot affiliate programs out there, try trade doubler or zanox, success, Loes
Thanks Loes, you are such an inspiration. I like your pannekoek dag post. My dad was a huge fan of Amsterdam and all the bicycles.
Hello Helena
Firstly your English is great so I wouldn't worry about that and secondly you've made a little money after only a month that's a huge success in itself. Be proud and strive forward.
Plus there is loads of help on here with things you struggle with.
Keep me updated
Gary
