Social Media Convert.!
Ive been at Wealthy Affiliate for around 5 years now.
I started out back then, like most newbies with an affiliate marketing website, which I am still building now. I continue to add blogs and products weekly. It brings in a steady stream of income each month which I am grateful for. It has played a huge part of my life whilst I was in Spain with my boy. I couldn't speak spanish well enough to get a job but being able to do this online helped me feel productive.
I started a website promoting Wealthy Affiliate just over a year ago and that website is going well too.
But for the last 2 years or so I have been formulating products for a different website.
Going back in time a little, before I went out to Spain with my tennis son in 2014, I had been running a designer cake business for the previous 15 years. However when I went to spain all that stopped. Im a naturally creative person and I missed it but not enough to want to try to work at in Spain. So I thought about other creative things I could do.... making soap! So whilst in Spain I worked on my various products, creating the formulations, getting them toxologically tested and giving samples to family and friends for trials.
So zooming into the present, I have spent the last year in lockdown pulling my new business together, lodging my business at Companys House in London, finalising containers for body butters, deodorants etc .... my USP being no plastic, natural occurring colours and scents, ethically sourced and enviromentally friendly and using natural springwater from the spring on my property. I know that there is competition in this niche, but I believe in my products.
Tonight, I put up a post on social media about my mothers day gift boxes - this is my first step in starting to sell... within 5 minutes I had an order ! I am stunned ! So pleased ! I had to share this with you all... Ill be running off to the Post Office in the morning!
I did not think Social Media worked so well!

Congratulations!! Despite knowing that competition existed (and it always does) you believed in your product. Now you have the proof that your new venture is indeed worthwhile.

You have taken a role in shaping your future by not accepting fate as it was handed to you. You were proactive in finding a solution to your situation and found a way to make it happen.
