No ContentLow Content Books

Not long ago I read an article on here about no content/low content books. I hadn't heard of them before and it intrigued me. Not that of course I dont already have enough to do with three other websites but as the saying goes if you want something done, ask a busy person... so I got onto it...

This must have been some time in October. I didnt have the time to do what I call 'full research' - this is when I would go through the topics and find a ton of things to write about but in this case - things to create. This was beause the tool suggested for the job was more than I wanted to spend so I was using it on a free trial basis. I maxed this out! :) I got a decent list of no content or low content books to create and set about creating them. The bookbolt tool I use to make the books is definitely worth it and actually not expensive. Making books for KDP has got to be the way to go when you dont have a publisher.

(I used to write books, way back, before I left for Spain with my son - I was a cake designer, and wrote all sorts of books about sugar modelling and cake carving)

So getting back to KDP. Much simpler than the good old days with my publisher.

The no content books are interesting, whilst the ones I have done so far are on specific topics, I am working on others to expand my repetoire.

But the whole thing to remember about no content/low content books is volume... its not about the book itself, but about the number of books you have for sale. They are cheap, printed only when required, and you get royalties from them so the more you have the better. As far as ISBN numbers are concerned, the places to get these books up and sold are Amazon and KDP give you a free ISWBN number. There are other places to sell books where you can buy an ISBN number if you feel the book is too good for KDP.

The bottom line is that no single no content/low content book is going to bring in the big time, but a multitude of them over a few years will eventually bring in constant stream of revenue. The rule to remember is not to take too long researching or building but getting it right from the outset. So far with 6 books since October, I have made £56. Not bad !

Im off to get a few more out there, aiming for 2/3 a week ... along with everything else I have to do... I am right in thinking there are 48 hours to every day .. aren't I? hahahahah !!!!
