My First $1000 Sale … Don’t Doubt The Power of Social Media
For those of you who have read many of my blogs here at WA you will know I love Facebook for traffic and this is why ... my first high ticket sale ⬇️ ⬇️
I know what you're thinking … but Heidi I came here to WA to learn blogging and affiliate marketing with a website for passive income.
And don’t get me wrong this is ABSOLUTELY the best way to build your long term business. You own your website, obviously you don’t own FB. I have blogged about this before … traffic you own is the very best and what you should be working towards.
BUT I am sure you’ve all heard “it’s a marathon not a sprint” or “just keep writing your blogs you need to get the numbers up for Google to rank you”.
This all takes time and maybe some of you don’t have that sort of time.
You can leverage FB to get warm traffic to your blog or direct to an affiliate offer while you build your site and start making sales on the side while you wait to start rocking that long-term passive income.
Many of you know I joined a high ticket offer not long ago and this is what I market on FB, but it doesn’t matter what offer or niche you are in, the concept is the same. AND it works.
Blogging and social media go hand in hand. Utilising social media for short term gains while you build your blogging empire is just smart business.
I am sure many would not leave WA and a viable online business that could change their lives IF they were able to make a little bit of income to keep them going.
So to my referrals here, and anyone else who wishes to listen, please consider spending the time to learn FB marketing.

Hi Heidi,
Congrats on that high ticket sale through Facebook! I will be checking out your training to learn how to slay the Facebook Dragon! I've had nothing but grief getting my ads rejected promoting my MMO blog posts on my website.
Do you think I can get approval if I market products that are not MMO related?
I am using my Facebook Business page to promote my business. Would a protected personal page like you use be a better approach?
Thanks for any suggestions you can give. I was thinking of giving up on Facebook. Looks like I need to change my strategy using your training.

Hey Edwin personal profiles will get you much more reach and therefore engagement than a page. FB ads are notoriously difficult to get approved in the MMO niche, and honestly I have wasted too much money on ads to bother with them anymore.
You will get traction using organic traffic if you are consistent, check out my training and please let me know if you have any queries.

Affiliates living the dream. These types of reports on progress and growth as well as tactics use are one of the things that make WA Great. There are no Payment Proofs on the front page like some fly by night SCAM that opens a brand new product with rave reviews before anyone has ever made a purchase. There are only a few people out on the web bran\gging dollar signs, but here in the community people share freely the success they are seeing. Stories like yours, or Nathaniel, and even Eddy with a Y and his 10-year journey to earning over 7 figures total with Google Adsense Alone.
Agreed Andy, I don't think I have even seen a more down to earth platform than WA. Real people, working it and sharing their successes and their failures, of which I have had many.
It is only by doing and making the mistakes that we learn and can then perhaps teach and help others.
Funny only this morning I have realised a mistake I have been making, I am not going to beat myself up about it, lesson learnt and now to move on and correct it. I shall probably blog about it here when I have a spare minute 😂

My site is only 2 months old and after checking the stats early this morning since its the start of a new month, this is what I saw...
Type - Users
Direct - 49
Social - 36
Referral - 4
Organic Search - 2
As you can see the users that come from social media are almost as high as the users that hit my site directly, and some of those direct hits can inadvertently come from SM also
I link ever article on social media, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Reddit.
Over time, I am 100% that I will start seeing the Organic Search numbers start climbing as my site gains authority and my articles start ranking better.
